Chapter 49
Andrea's pov

"Jeanine!" My eyes pop out their sockets.

"Andy, dear." She waddles over to me and she embraces me.

"What are you doing here?" I was shocked to see her hear.

"Kaitlin is my granddaughter, or did you forget?" She laughs.

"I can't still believe that you guys are related." I frown at her response.

"Grandma, what are you doing here talking to 'this'?" Kaitlin clicks her heels over to us.

"Stop being so rude!" She disciplines her.

"Whatever. When you're done come there." She orders her grandmother.

"To be honest, I came here to see you graduate Andy. But don't tell Kaitlin, let's keep it our little secret." She giggles like a little child.

"No worries." I wrap my pinky
around hers.

"Now why don't you sit down, I'll be back." I make sure she mingles with others and quietly exit.

Searching around, I notice that Zach was nowhere to be seen. Where could the arrogant boy be?

Somebody's a bit clingy.

I'm not clingy, I'm just worried. I should be concerned, I am his girlfriend.

"Hey Mia, have you seen Zach anywhere?" I ask my best friend.

"Not really, no. Why?" She shakes her head in response.

"I can't see him. He should be here, it's graduation." I was worried.

"Have you prepared your speech?" She reminds me of my position as this year's valedictorian.

"Gonna wing it." I shrug.

"Classic." She laughs and goes off to greet Ethan's family.

Today was graduation. The day I had been waiting for since the day I entered this school. The only thing that got me through this experience was my friends. I actually have no clue where I would be without any of them.

Probably begging somebody on the street to smoke were with you.

"Andy!" Sebastiàn hugs me. "My favrouite girl friend." He winks.

"Your only friend that happens to have a vagina." I correct him.

"Ouch, that hurt." He places his hand over his heart.

"Have you seen you're cousin?" I was concerned of his whereabouts.

I wasn't one of those needy girlfriends and I never will be, but it was graduation for goodness sake.

"Missing me already, are we?" I hear the voice I've been awaiting for all day.

"Nah." I give him a shrug.

"Don't lie, you missed me." He i gs me and I wrap my arms around his torso.

"Just because she's your girlfriend doesn't mean you can have her all to yourself." Abuela breaks them apart. "I need some one to one time with my future nieta en ley." She hugs me tightly and I take in her scent.

"Now shoo. Go mingle with your non-existent friends." She pushes him away.

"Andy, I'm so proud of you. I heard you got valedictorian." Aunt Ximena greets me with a huge smile.
