Keith was currently at the pet store picking out his girlfriend's gift. Recently her dog of five years had passed away and she fell into a deep depression. She didn't even want to do anything to celebrate her birthday, but Keith was going to change that.

" I want that one ", he pointed to a husky pup that was chasing his tail.

The worker goes to the back grabbing the puppy out from the cubicle. Cuddles him to his chest scratching the top of it's head.

" She is going to love you."

He went up to the front to pay for the dog, cage, bed, food, toys, etc. After the transaction was approved, he walks over to his jeep putting everything in the back seat.

" Time to go surprise your new mommy."

Keith quietly walks into their shared apartment with Marley zipped up in his jacket. He walks upstairs to their bedroom, he peeks through the door to see Y/N sleeping. Quietly opening the door, Keith tip toes to the door. Keith puts Marley on the bed letting him sniff around. Marley goes back to Keith licking his hands.

Marley goes up to Y/N sniffing her, then he started licking her cheeks. Y/N woke up from the sudden wetness on her face. She rubs her eyes to be met with a dog on her chest and a smiling Keith next to her.

" I know you were upset about Zion's passing, so I wanted to get you a new furry friend."

Y/N kissed his lips rubbing on his bare chest.

" What did you name him?"

" Marley."

" Hi Marley I'm your new mommy ", Y/N talked in her baby voice.

Keith watched at how happy his girlfriend was, he's just glad that he brought her smile back to life. The couple goes downstairs to eat breakfast that Keith picked up on the way back home.  Marley sat in Y/N's lap as she was eating. He took one of bacon strips and hopped off her lap.

" You know ima let you slide cause this is your first day here."

" So baby it's your birthday."

" I know."

" You know what that means right....YOU GETTING THIS BIRTHDAY DICK!"

" Keith we have neighbors!"

Y/N shakes her head as she put their dishes in the sink.

Keith and Y/N spent their whole day shopping and at the bowling alley being teenagers again.

They were currently walking down Melrose as they were eating their hotdogs from Pink's.

Keith pulls out a velvet box holding in her present she'll have for eternity. He opens the box making Y/N shut up.

" You know I'm not the type to be all lovey dovey with speeches, but you know I love you and would do anything for your love. You going to marry a nigga or what?"

Y/N brought his up by his shirt smashing her lips on his.

" So is that a yes?"

" It's a hell yes!"

Keith put the ring on her finger as she admired it's glimmer from the city lights.
