Keith was sitting at the kitchen table along with his daughter, Persephone. She was doing her homework which consisted of coloring and practice writing numbers and letters. Keith was looking over his script for his new upcoming movie. He would check on his daughter every minutes asking if she was ok, if she needed help, etc. Persephone was five and just started kindergarten, but she was so intelligent for her age. Her teacher told him she was the smartest in her class. Y/N would have been so proud to witness their daughter grow.

He can imagine her in the kitchen right now singing as she cook, or telling that stupid joke she says about his coffee every morning. Keith looks down at his left hand to see where his wedding band rest at. His thoughts were interrupted when P shook his arm.

" Yes princess?"

" Daddy can you help me write my fives? They are starting to look like S's."

" Of course sweet pea."

Placing his hand on top of his daughter's he guide her hand completing what she had asked for.

" Thank you daddy ", she smiles.

" No problem Y/N."

" Huh?"

" No problem princess ", he smile.

Lately Persephone has been looking more and more like Y/N. Her looks made him miss his wife even more. To top off the sundae, she even acts like her too. When concentrating she sticks her tongue out, she licks the icing off first then eats the cupcake, and many more trusts he remembers Y/N doing.

You're probably wondering what happened to Y/N. When Persephone was around seven months, Y/N passed away from stage four leukemia. It a difficult time because Keith had to take care of his sick wife and a baby. The funeral was even harder, the had to hold Keith down as they put the casket in the ground. Y/N was his high school sweetheart and the only girl he loved. They went through everything together.

" Daddy?"

" Yes baby?"

Keith highlighted something on his script before putting his full attention on his daughter.

" When you drop me and pick me up from school, I don't always see dads their to pick up their kids. Sometimes I see mommies do what you do. My friend Ethan said his mommy makes him PBJ everyday for lunch, then I said my mommy doesn't do that my daddy does. He asked me where my mommy was and I shrugged my shoulders. He said everyone has a mommy and that made me wonder where is my mommy?"

Keith knew this day was going to come, but not this soon. Taking his glasses off he rubs his hands down his face letting out a sigh.

" Daddy did I say something wrong?"

Persephone sat in her father's lap wiping the tear away that he didn't know escaped.

" No baby you didn't. Mommy went to a special place where good people go."

" Heaven?"

" I see you have been paying attention in Sunday school ", he smiles.

" When did she go to heaven?"
