Keith's arm was resting behind his head as he watched his wife do their daughters hair. He set his phone on the night stand, because his arm was getting tired.

" Baby where Jayden and Kason at?"

" Jayden is still sleeping and Kason is getting dressed."

" Daddy?"

" Yes my princess?"

" When are you coming back home?"

" I'll be back before you know it."

" You always say that ", she lowered her head.

For a five year old, Aubree was very smart and curious. Her curiosity either helped her or got her in trouble.

" Aubree you know daddy is working to make our country a better place and safe from the bad people(terrorist). Don't be sad, I will be back soon."

Keith was in the navy. He didn't like being away from his family, but this was his solution after high school when him and Y/N graduated.

" Y/N, baby what are you doing today?"

" Nothing much, just work, come back home, and cook. The same routine I've been doing ", she mumbled the last part.

Y/N tapped Aubree's shoulder to let her know she was done. She hops of the stepping stool exiting the bathroom.

" Where's my fat boy?"

Y/N picks up her phone walking to theie one year olds room. Jayden was rubbing his eyes stretching. She picks him up putting his face in the camera.

" Hey fat boy ", Keith waved to the camera.

" Chunky say hi to daddy."

" Da da."

Jayden was getting so big, Keith was starting to get sad that he missed all of that. Y/N walked down the stairs and enters the kitchen. Kason and Aubree were sitting at the table eating breakfast.

" Is that dad?"

" Yes."

Y/N hands him the phone.

" Hey twin."

" Hey dad."

" How's school?"

" Good."

" You not acting up are you?"

" No sir."

" Good. Have you been taking care of things...holding it down at the house?"

" Yes sir."

" I'm proud of Kason...i love you."

" I love you too dad."

Kason hands the phone back to his mother.

" So baby what are you plans today?"
