Naturally, we won. We stole 4 uniforms and painted our faces red and white, the way they had. Now we bow in front of the Earth King. Wow. I feel so honored. Not many can say they've met royalty from another nation.
He calls us the Kyoshi Warriors. Huh. So that's what they are. That actually makes sense. They look to similar to how the late Avatar used to.
"We are the Earth King's humble servants.", Azula announces. I can hear the irony in her voice.
I try to hold back a smirk. We actually made it. We, are the first Fire Nation members to make it all the way into Ba Sing Se. I take back what I thought about victory.

We sit before the King in his throne room. It is quite beautiful and I'm tempted to look around. Alas, I can not. That would be incredibly unprofessional.
"Look Basco, the Kyoshi Warriors are here to protect us. Aren't you excited?", the Earth king asks his...bear? I know I have very limited knowledge about animals but...is it just a bear? Like a bear bear? Never seen one before.
He begins to go on about what a terrible week he's had. How his trusted advisor tried to take over.
"It's terrible when you can't trust the ones closest to you." Azula says.
I dip my head slightly. Can't trust the ones closet to you? I know how that feels. I suppress the memories that try to surface. No time to dwell on those monstrosities.
The King mentions something about a solar eclipse. Azula speaks about a plan. I must have missed something. Something important. I blink slowly. I need to stop. Stop thinking about the past. It's affecting my present.

"Ugh. It feels so good to get this make up off." I say as I wipe my face. I never did like wearing full face paint. Even in the circus. I never wore this much. The Earth King gave us a room for our stay here. It is very spacious and I am loving the trifold vanity. Much bigger than the one I used to use back at Kap's.
"We've been presented with a extraordinary opportunity girls." Azula speaks as she walks across the room.
"Mai gets to wear make up that's not totally depressing?" Ty chips in. I burst into laughter from my place between them two. That's true!
"Ha ha." Mai responds. Make up running down her eyes. This does nothing to squelch my laughs.
"I'm talking about concoring the whole Earth Kingdom."
I stop when I hear Azula say this. Conquer the whole Earth Kingdom?
"For a hundred years the Fire Nation has hammered away at Ba Sing Se from the outside. But now we're on the inside. And we can take it by ourselves." She continues.
"Gosh. Your so confident Azula. I really admire that about you." Ty complements with a smile.
"From the inside, we are in the perfect position to organize a coup and over throw the Earth King. The key, is the Dai Lee. Who ever controls the Dai Lee-"
"Controls Ba Sing Se. " I finish for her. I'm standing now in realization when she turns to us. Azula is so smart. I hadn't even thought about that. I smile at her. This is gonna be great.

"I'm tired of wearing this girly disguise. I don't know how anyone can fight in this." Mai draws on as she sits on the steps. She tugs on the green skirt of the dress. Ty Lee and I stretch from our positions on either side of her. We are currently watching the front of the palace. I bend backwards, rocking back and forth.
"Maybe that's why it was so easy to beat the Kyoshi warriors and take their clothes." Ty thinks aloud. Throwing a few punches.
"They weren't much of a challenge anyways. Warriors. Pft. I wonder if they've actually ever fought before." I wonder out loud.
"How much longer to we have to serve the Earth King? If I have to clean up one more pile of bear poop I'm gonna throw up." Mai drawls.
I pull back up to a standing position. Then reach over to touch my toes.
"Princess Azula promised we'd go back to the Fire Nation as soon as we capture the Avatar." I respond, feeling the muscles in my body strain. Haven't really stretched in a while. I'm losing my touch.
"We just have to be patient. " Ty decides to add.
"Shush up you two. Do you want the whole palace to know we're Fire Nation?" Mai mentions as she stands.
"Right. Sorry.", Ty Lee and I apologize while walking over to her.
Azula comes out from behind a pillar. "Good work girls." she says, "I'm sure the Dai Lee will deliver the message."

Sitting, just sitting. Is so, incrEDIBLY, enTIRELY BORING! I had no idea that there would be SO. MUCH. SITTING! I thought these girls were supposed to be warriors? Is this what those fan freaks do all day? SIT?!
I hear huffing and puffing from down the hall of the vast thrown room. It gets progressively closer. As it does, I the Water Tribe girl that trapped me in the sludge comes into view.
"Thank goodness you're here Suki, the Fire Nation has infultrated the city. I just saw Zuko and his uncle. We have to tell the Earth King right away." she rambles on. She clearly doesn't know who she's talking to.
Azula stands. "Oh don't worry. I'll be sure to let him know." she says as her golden eyes met the dark skinned girl's blue ones. The lemur on her shoulder screeches. Flapping away.
I fly over Ty, land on my hands, pop up, and turn in the air to make a grab at the dark haired girl. She's mine. I smirk at the look on her face. Quickly griping her right shoulder as she tires to bend water, she falls to the ground limply. Water pooling around her.
"So...Zuzu's in the city too. I think it's time for a family reunion." Azula states.
I slightly frown as I watched the girl on the floor. She was not much of a challenge either.

Well. What do you know. Our little performance worked. The Dai Lee took Azula to Long Fang in the middle of the night. They made a deal. Long Fang thinks he's got the better of it. He is so naive.
So...whatcha think?
