Fishing

We went to the lake today as a field trip. There are going to be a series of chapters about this trip.

I am going to start in chronological order of events.

The first thing that happened today was fishing. We were all forced to go fishing, whether we wanted to or not. Some of the people didn't want to fish, including Maia. She was complaining the entire time about how she hated fishing. This kid named Garrett looked over and saw a bobber moving.

"Hey, somebody's got a fish!" he yelled. Maia wasn't paying attention, but she thought she had something snagged on her hook, so she pulled it up. There was a fish on the end.

There were only eight people who caught fish today. Another one was a kid named Jake. He was the first one to catch something. He pulled the pole up, saw the fish, was yelling that he caught one, and then the pole hit a tree. THe fish fell off and swam away.
