"For you I was a chapter, but for me, you were the whole damn book."

A/N: Does anyone else have an obsession with Stranger Things? Well the second season came out and I completely binged watched it all. Thanks for 2k, it means a whole lot! Xo

PS: How young are some of you? Are y'all okay with rated R scenes? If not let me know, I can compile those into another book or something.

My book, the sequel is coming to life before my eyes. We're in the last stages and the release date is already set. Pre-sales start soon and somehow the experience is more overwhelming than the first time around.

And with today, while I'm not stuck with the editors, I'm being confined with script writers as we work together to build the plot for the movie. It still hasn't struck home with me that If I Fall is becoming a movie. Something I wrote is going to be played in front of hundreds of people. Characters I spent hours creating.

"You okay?" Aunt Ronnie asked, concern wrecking her voice.

As much as I wish she was here, she's stuck in New York as her students go through finals. But when that is over, she'll be on the first flight to LA. "Just thinkin'," I huff, turning my laptop so that I could see our skype call better.

"How are you, with everything?" She asks, hinting at something.

"Fine, overwhelmed, but excited." I nod.

"Not what I'm talking about."

I sighed, "I know."

In just a few days it will be my Mom's birthday. Every year since, it's one of the days I break. And fall back into the pit I worked so hard to pull myself out of. She was the greatest part of me. She's gone and with everything I have, I wish she could be here to see all the success I am going through.

"She's proud of you hun," she smiled.

"I know, I'm just missin' her that's all," I spoke.

Finishing my lunch, I was dreading going back into Amalee's office to talk about upcoming book signings. I love doing them, meeting my readers is one of the best things in the world. They're just hell to plan.

The minutes and hours blended together. And I just needed the day to be over so I could see Chance. His arms have become a safe place. With all the madness going on around me.

He's a piece of home I didn't know I needed in LA. Although, the galaxies that I see in his eye's take me to other worlds. He was my first heartbreak, but it's one he mended back together again. Maybe I'm falling for him, or maybe I already did that a long time ago.

"You got that Liz?" Amalee asked, breaking me of my thought.

"Yeah," I nodded.

The schedule for the next few months is jammed packed.  Which with the release of the book is expected, but it may be a little harder to handle than I was thinking it would be. Breathe, I tell myself.

"I gotta take this," I speak, motioning to my ringing cell phone.

Stepping out into the hallway, I know what's waiting for me on the other side of this call. It's Chance, pissed probably cause I had to cancel on our date due to the fact I won't be getting home until real late.

"Hey," I ease.

"They won't let you come home, like at all?" He asked, hearing the frustration in his voice.
