I awoke still on the sofa with Westley and shadow by my sides, I smile to myself and pull of the warm blanket, I stood up carefully trying not to wake either of them and made my way into the kitchen.

I looked around for something to eat as I'd eaten all if the apples, whilst searching I came across some pancake mixture, I smiled to myself again and started to prepare them.

When I poured the last but of mixture in the pan I felt a cold nose followed by soft fur rub against my leg giving me goose bumps, "want some food boy?" I chuckle walking over to the side where his food belonged and picked it up, I turned to see him spinning I'm circles with his tale wagging, I pour his food down but pushed him away and told him to stay.

He followed the instructions immediately and sat down, I stood up and snapped my fingers and he raced towards the food, I chuckle and place it on the side again.

I walked back over to the pancake and take it off the heat and placed it on the small pile, I picked up the plate and made my way into the front room where Wes was finally awake, "I made you some pancakes" I say smiling, he returns the smile and pats the seat for me to sit down.

I hand him the plate and check my phone, 6 missed calls from my brother and 4 from Emma and 10 texts from each of them, I check the texts from Emma first. 'Hey I'm staying for another couple weeks is everything okay?' That was her main text the others were just small chores I need to do, 'hey I'm staying at Leo's house for maybe two more weeks, I'll be home in a bit to grab some stuff see you soon sis xx' I check the time after reading Lucus's message and it's 6:40.

"I have to go get ready" I say going to give him a kiss on the cheek but he turns his head and our lips meet, we back up and giggle, I turn red and he turns my face and kisses me again.

After that happened I made my way upstairs still smiling, I put a pair of black leggings and an oversized hoodie, I do my hair in a messy bun style and then went back downstairs to put my shoes on.

As I reached the bottom Wes exited the room, "I have to go, but I'll you later" I nodded and smiled and he kissed me again.

I pulled shadows lead of the wall hook and clipped it to his collar, I opened the door and physically bumped into Lucus, "sorry sis didn't see you leavi- SHADOW" He yells at the sight of my new puppy, he picks him up and and cuddles him, while I get back on my feet.

I take him back and place him down, "we're going for a walk" I beam at him, he smiles and opens the door, I turn to leave but he stops me, "skye I'm really sorry I haven't spent a whole lot of time with you, I just haven't seen Leo in a while and I'll see you everyday" I shused him and chuckled, "I know and I'm okay with it, love you Luc" I say giving him a hug, he tuetured the embrace, "I love you too sis" we let go and I tugged shadow away.

We skipped over to Alex's house and he opened the door before I had the chance, "can I come on the walk" He asks with pleading eyes, I see has blaze on the leash and is ready to go, I nodded and started towards the woods.

We arrived at the woods at shadow pounced in the first pile of yellow and orange leaves he saw, I laughed at him and pulled him away, we continued on and neither of us had spoken, until he did, "so Westley" He said I rolled my eyes and kept walking, "he's treating you well right" He said his tone becoming very serious, "yes he is, why" He huffs and turns away, "making sure" He says uncertain of his own answer.

After a while we headed back, as we approached the house I noticed a familiar car outside, my heart dropped and I suddenly found it hard to breath, I backed up and pressed myself against the wall, "are you okay" alex asks worriedly, "no no no this can't ne happening now" I say as a few tears steam down my face.

"What's wrong" He asks again placing his hands on my Shoulders, "my dad" I say with a shudder, I take a few deep breaths and now I'm ready, I walk up to my door buy can still feel Alex's confused face watching me, I open the door and he's sitting in the living room, "skye what a nice surprise" I don't say anything, instead I unclipped shadow from his lead and hang it up on the hook, "what no welcome home" He says as he enters the hall, I back up into the kitchen and turn away, "welcome. Home" I say slowly.

He chuckles at me, "still the same scared little girl" He says walking towards me causing me to back up into the counter, he laughs at me again and pets me like I'm an animal, "back off" I say pushing him out of the way and walking past him, "you made a mistake girly" He says in an evil tone, he storms after me and shoves me into the wall, "know your place girl" He says pushing my head into the wall, he laughs for a third time and his horrible breath is all I can smell and he pushed me one last time before walking off again.

I grab shadow and run to my room, I close the door and lock it, I sit on my window chair and pull my knees into my chest, this can't be happening, I tell myself over again, I grab my phone and text Lucus, 'he's here Lucus dad is home, I'm scared' I say my panic rising slightly, 'it's okay grab shad and a few things you need and meet me and the end of the road' I nodded to myself and grabbed a few things.

I snuck downstairs and grabbed the lead for Shad, and where are you going exactly" He snarls entering the hall, "to a friends" He nods no and chuckles, I back up and he pushes me into the kitchen door, I push of it but he slaps me across the face and makes me fall flat on the floor, I stagger onto my feet and shove and chair at him, I grab shad and bolt past him and out the door, I slam the door and dash down the street where Lucus was waiting for me already.

I jump into his arms sob, "I can't take it, I don't want to go home" I say his grip get slightly tighter and, "some people never change, come on I'll take you back to Leo's for the night" we started walking but I stopped when running footsteps could be heard, I spun around and Alex was stopped in front of me.

"Are you hurt? Damn it!" He yells noticing the cuts and bruses on my face, "I know we haven't been getting on recently, but stay at mine, he won't expect you to he across the street, and I can explain what's been going on" I turn and look at my brother who stopped and he nodded, "go he has a point, I'll check in every day" I nodded and Alex led me away down back alleys and we went through his back door.

We made our way into the living room and he sat down as did I, " I'm sorry I've been an ass lately, I am, not just in general but about Westley as well, he had a bad history and I don't trust him. And the mood change, that was my friend Kade, he got into my head and-" I shused him with my laughter, "stop, I don't want to hear it anymore, I fogive you, on the condition that you don't complain about my boyfriend" He nods and smiles.

"Wanna watch a movie?" He asks, I nodded happily and he enters the kitchen and comes back with food, he sits next to me and I shuffle to get comfy, we watched many movies that night but I was just happy to have him back.

Today started great for worse but got better, it's going to be like this for a long time...
