(2 weeks later)

"WHERE IS SHE!" I yell at everyone around the big table "we can't find her, she hasn't been outside in a while" Kade admits staring down at the floor, "it was a simple request, FIND HER!" My voice echoed around the huge metal room, bouncing from corner to corner making everyone flinch.

"We just need more time boss" finn says, "you have three days and I want her here, and for bonus points bring me alex, he has a whole lot of explaining to do" everyone nods and avoids eye contact with me, "dismissed..." everyone stands and I walk over to Kade, "you know alex better than anyone, find him and bring him to me, understand" He nods frantically, and leaves the room.

"Three days, they better be here" I repeat, I pace around the metal room, my footsteps echo around, the noise outside of people rushing around to get things done makes me chuckle to myself.

Skye

It's been about two weeks and I've been given a spare room at alex's place, right at the back of the house, so if my father leaves he doesn't spot me, I have a really nice view of the woods and I'm sure if I really looked I could see my little safe house.

A soft knock from my door pulls me out of thought but I'm to drained to care, I pull my knees further into my chest and return my gaze to the woods, "hey, breakfast is on the table if you want some" alex says leaning on the door frame, "I'm not hungry, but thanks" I say, I turn and look at him with a weak smile, "you've barley eaten anything since you've been here, please eat something even if it's just an apple, just please" He says coming over and perching on the seat next to me, I sigh in defeat and get up slowly, "fine I'll eat something" He smiles smugly at me and opens the door wider for me to leave.

"I made pancakes if you want them" He says gesturing to the table where a stack of chocolate chip pancakes sat, "wow, for me?" I ask surprised, he nodded happily and pulled out a chair for me to sit on, "what's this for, you've never made me pancakes like this before" I say cautiously, "it's been two weeks and you haven't eaten much, I didn't like it, so I made you something time eat" He smile, I returned the smile and picked up the fork.

I ate three pancakes and decided that was enough, I placed the fork down and stood up, as I reached the stairs alex stopped me, "my friend Abi is coming over soon is that okay?" I turned to him, "not my house, do what you want, I'll be in my room anyways" I say, he smiles lightly, I walk up a few steps but stop again, "alex just don't tell her I'm here, I don't want anyone else but you and my brother to know, okay?" He smiles and nods, "okay".

I walk to the top of rhe stairs and the doorbell chimes, I stop stop and Alex opens the door, "hey abi" He beams they hug and I take the time to dash into my room.

I take my place on my bed and grab my phone '1 new message' my lock screen said, I pressed on the notification and it put in my chat with Westley 'hey baby xx I miss you, I'll see you the second I get back from holiday' I smiled at his message 'I miss you too xx' I placed my phone down on my bedside table and stood up, I walked over to the window and sat down, I pulled my knees into my chest and focused my gaze towards the woods like earlier.

30 minutes or so go by and I hear shouting downstairs, "get out!" I hear alex yell his voice dripping with anger, I hear the front door slam and heavy footsteps coming up the stairs and to my door, a soft knock came from my door and then he entered, he stared at the door facing away from me.

"Alex, what happened" His breathing starts to slow down and he sighs, "nothing we just had a major disagreement, it fine" He says his voice weak, he turns and smiles, he walks over and sits down, "do you want to watch a movie downstairs?" I smiled and nodded, we both stood up and I grabbed my huge fluffy blanket on the way out.

Throughout the movie Alex seemed more interested by his phone, "we don't don't have to keep watching" I say, no answer. Another 10 minutes go by and he is still more interested in his phone, "Alex? We don't have to watch this?" I say, still no response, I rolled my eyes and wrapped my blanket round me and stood up making my way to the door, "where are you going the movie isn't over yet?" He asked, I rolled my eyes and turned to him, "yeah it is, I'll be in my room" and with that I walked off.

A few hours pass and I'm lying in bed with some music playing, "hey skye, I'm sorry I didn't pay attention to the movie or you, I was just talking to a friend" he says, I pulled my blanket to my shoulder and didn't reply, "skye please" He walks in and sits on my double bed in front of me, I look up at him and back down to my covers.

"I'm sorry skyler, please I can make it up to you" He pleads, I look up at him and he smiles and bit, "how?" I ask, he chuckles, "however you want me to" He smiles, "tell me what you were really arguing about" He stares and me and nods no, he stands up and walks downstairs, I quickly follow, "Alex, what's so hard to tell me?" He nods no again, and I roll my eyes.

I make my way back to my room this time with Shad following me, I slammed the door and got back into bed.
