Skye

I woke up cuddling shadow, no Alex in sight, I looked around confused.  It's 7am and it wasn't until shadow moved noticed a note he left on the side for me, 'gone to get breakfast xx' it read, I smile and my heart fluttered.

I reached over to grab my phone and I had a few missed messages 'Emma: I heard what happened and I'm fuming I'm going to get that sickening boy put away for life xx'  I smiled, shes in a business trip and is still doing everything she can to get him put away, 'Lucas: I have something important to tell you when your discharged' I got confused and when I texted him he didn't reply, I glanced back at my phone and the name gave me horrible memories and a wave of terror washed over me, 'this isn't over luv, I'll be back' my breath got caught in my throat and I tried to calm myself.

As I put my phone down it chimed again, 'Alex: I've got breakfast heading to you room now princess xx' my breathing returned and I started to relax a little.

20 minuets later Alex walked in with breakfast, "thank you" I say as he hands me mcmuffun and a bottle of orange juice, I take a second to study his face and notice the bags under his eyes had Dissapeared, "see something you like?" He jokes, making a face and posing, "the bags under your eyes are gone" I say taking a bite out of my sandwich, "only because of you princess" He smiles, a beautiful heart stopping smile.

"Got everything" He asks, I nod and tug on shadows lead, we exit the room and head to the main reception where I was getting discharged.

As I stepped out I shivered at the freezing air, Alex immediately noticed and gave me has jacket, I smiled as he wrapped it around me, he planted his arm around my shoulder and walked me to his car.

I climbed into the car and quickly shut the door, Alex did the same and we just sat there for a moment in silence, "alex?" He looked at me with concern, "can I have the AUX cord?" I say while a smile creeped onto my face, he rolled his eyes playfully and handed me the cord, "yay!" I yelled and he chuckled at me and drive us home.

When we finally arrived, I noticed my house was empty, nobody in sight, I sighed with content and got out the car, Alex did the same on the other side, I walked over to the door and opened it, not only was it empty but lonely, I wasn't as happy as I thought I would be, "I don't like it" I mumble, "what was that princess?" He asked, emotions took over and flooded my mind and features and anger was the dominant one, "I. Don't. Like. It." I say raising my voice.

I dashed out of the house and started walking towards the woods, my treehouse finally in sight after a few minutes. I climbed the ladder and flopped on the pillows in the corner and wrapped a blanket around me.

"Your so adorable" Alex says sitting down against the wall.  We sat for a while and I thought about the things we talked about in here, then I realized a question I asked never got answered, I turned to Alex with a mix of anger and confusion on my face and he avoided eye contact, "Alex" I say quietly, "yes Skye" He replies cautiously, "I asked you a question when we met and I never got an answer" I state, he nods slowly trying to catch on to what I was thinking.

We sat there, I stared at him for minutes but he avoided eye contact at all costs, never thought I would make the 'bad boy' uncomfortable "what happened between you and the principal?" I asked,  his head shot up and the look on his face could kill but so could mine so it didn't effect me, he gave up the end but he put up a strong  fight, "he knows people. Dangerous people. That could get me in a lot of trouble not just academically. They used to be in business with my family and when my dad cut them out of the company he also handed it over to me. So they came after me but we moved and they don't know where we hide. The principal knows someone who knows the gang and he could at any moment tip them off about my location without me knowing meaning I could be in danger" I didn't want the details  but something in my brain wanted me to ask more questions.

"You have questions... Ask" He says smiling to reassure me, "let me get this straight... You were in company businesses thing which I'm guessing isn't a legal thing with your family but you dad cut part of the gang out and now they're after you because they thought that you were the reason for them being kicked out and the principal actually has a mutual friend that he could talk to and tell your location to so that would put you in. Danger... Am I missing anything?" I ask with slight of humor.

He chuckles and shakes his head, "pretty much spot on" I nod slowly and all happy emotion drains from his face.

"I should go" He says and gets up. I flip the blanket of while he drops down and I try to catch up, "Alex! Wait!" He stops and turns, "what I do is dangerous and it's not fair that I've dragged you into this.

I hug him. Something he really wasn't expecting. "You didn't drag me into this... I chose you and everything that comes with you even the dangerous side" He hugs new back and buries his head in my shoulder, "I love you" He whispers.

"I love you too"
