Chapter 12

Skye

I don't leave my room, at all. If someone wants to see me then tough luck. I spend most of my days on in my window seat staring out at the woods, I want to go home, I know it's only across the street but Alex keeps secrets and it makes me feel uncomfortable in a way.

I was pulled out of my thoughts by a rain drop falling on the window, weird thing to get distracted by but it just seemed so calming when it rained, the way that the droplets fall together and make the trees sparkle when the sun comes out.

My phone buzzed causing the whole seat to vibrate, I picked it up and had two messages, one from Wes and one from Alex, even though he was only in the next room. I opened Alex's first, "Can we talk about what happened yesterday?" I rolled my eyes and ignored, I then opened westley's, "meet me in the park baby xx" I didn't reply, what did he just call me and why?

"ALEX!" I yell, moments later he burst into my room, "what, what's wrong?" He rushed all at once, "it's westley" he rolls his eyss and goes to leave, "no, he's acting weird, he always wants to see me and know where I am" he stops and his eyes widen slightly, "you haven't told him anything right?" I nodded no and he let a sigh of relief.

"What's going on?" I ask impatiently, "I don't know" he replies, "But I'm gonna find out" he says full of determination, "I'm going back to school tomorrow" I say and he stops, "good" he says softly with a smile before leaving the room.

Next day

"Ready to go?" Alex asks, I nod and he opens the door for me, I smile. We made up last night, and it feels better to have someone to talk to. I climb in his car and he drives us to school.

I took a deep breath as we approached school, "you alright?" I nod, putting on the mute act on, we got out the car and walked towards the main entrance, I kept getting death states from everyone around, maybe it has something to do with Alex?

"I'm gonna find my friends coming?" He asked, I nodded no and at the same time my name was called out by someone down the hall, as the person approached I said bye to Alex and went to my locker, "hey, it's been awhile" I turn and Lana is there, I smile at her, "Hey I have a problem will you come with me real quick?" I nodded and shut my locker and she lead me to the bathroom.

She shut the door and locked it, my heart rate picked up slightly, "we've been looking for you" she says in a evil tone, But before I knew it I felt a shrap pain to the side of my head and the room went completely black.

Alex

"Has anyone seen skye?" I ask my friends, "no" a few of them said in unison, "I last saw her with Lana" Catherine said, "what!" I raise, "they went into the bathroom, I tried to get in but she locked the door" she said, "And nobody told me!" I yell getting a few scared looks from people around the room,  my friends didn't reply.

I bolted from the room to the girls bathroom. I waited for everyone to go to class then walked in, well tried it was locked, "hey you" Someone said from behind me, "son of b-" The room went black but the last thing I saw was Lana...

I woke in a dark room, there was something of about it,  a peculiar smell, and a slight chill... I know where I am, "Let me go!!" I scream, the door opens seconds after,  "well well well, look what the cat dragged in" He snarled, "let me out!,  wait where's Skye!" He laughed, "my dear!" He says holding out his hand and looking towards the door,  she entered and took his hand,  She entered with a smile, I was stunned,  what was happening,  "my dear do you know who this is?" He asked she nodded yes but had a dark look in her eyes.

She gets closer to me and stops that same dark look in her eyes, "skye please" I beg,  she scoffs and her hand comes into contact with my face, again and agian, "that's enough" He hisses and her eyes shut tightly and she grabs her head like she's in pain, "take her to her room" He says to someone standing in the dark.

They both swiftly exit the room so now it's only me and him, "what have you done to her" I ask my temper rising, "that's a story for another day" He says, I was still very surprised she kept her mute act on even when being controlled by this monster, "I'm done with you" He says, "show him to his room" He says and another person emerges from the shadows and grabs me by the chains around my hand and drags me out of the room.

We walk down a thick corridor to a bunch of doors with padlocks on,  he opens one and unchains me then throws me in, he then exits and slams then door and locks the padlock.

I pace around the room for a moment but sniffles can be heard through the thin walls next to the bed, I sit on the bed with my back to the wall, "I'm sorry I'm so so sorry" I heard through the wall, I knew it was her but I stayed quiet for a moment, "its not you" I say back "I watched it happen but had no control" He says with a sniffle, "hey I said it's okay" I said softly.

A little while later I was pacing around my room when I heard the lock being messed with outside, then a snap the door opened and kade stood there with a smug face, "we need to get you two outta here" He says with a smirk, "this is why we're best friends" I say back,  he chuckles,  "we need a plan"...
