I  had a somewhat awkward dream that night. I was three years old. and was in a porch, with a red haired woman who was playing with me, and there was too a girl of about five or six years old, and a baby sleeping in a cot. After a while, the woman took the girl's hand and they both went into the house...then, two men took away the baby and me. I was crying and yelling, but they didn't stop. I woke up with a cold sweat, and went to the bathroom trying not to make any noise. I sat there for a while, just thinking about the meaning of that strange dream. Still.I knew it was quite unlikely it wasn't but that, a dream, but it did look real. After a while, .I went back to bed and fell asleep again. There were no more dreams this time. In the morning, when I woke up, I remembered every detail of the dream, and that was quite uncommon in me, since I have never been able to remember my dreams. When we were having breakfast, before going on with the trip, I told the others about my dream.

-I think I saw my real mother tonight, in dreams. Or maybe it was just that, a simple dream... I was in a porch, with a big garden, and a red haired wonan was playing with me and with a girl of five or six. There was a baby too, I think that could be you, May. This woman could be 23 more or less... It's funny, I don't know if it was a dream or some kind of memories...

-Hadn't you ever had this kind of dream?

-No, it was the first time...and you know, May, I never remember my dreams...

No one knew what to say, really. It was something quite weird, and had me thinking about it for the rest of the day...guess I wasn't the best company, to be true. What if I had an elder sister?

When we arrived to Billings, it was about two or three. We looked for a hotel, ate something and then went for a walk. May and I kept some old friends there, and arranged to meet that evening. Allen and Jess said they were a bit tired, and prefered to stay at the hotel...though I thought they just wanted to leave us on our own, so May, Sue and me went to meet them. I was kinda nervous with this reunion, but it went smoothly, it was as if time hadn't passed.

-Andy Hardy is back in town! It's great seeing you again, buddy! What kind of adventure brings you here? Oh, and you came with May..nice to see you too!

That was Matt, my former best friend when I lived in Billings. He and Jerry used to call me like that because of Mickey Rooney's movies, we really liked them when we were kids. It was just like being ten once more...

-Yeah, I think you could call it an adventure. But, before that, this is Sue, my girl...and these pair of fools are Matt and Jerry, my friends when I lived here...

-You keep your good taste, huh? Remember Martha? Well...

-Martha? Who the hell is Martha? It seems you have something to tell me...Matt?-and Sue winked at me.

-No, I'm Jerry...and it will be a pleasure to tell you all kind of things!

A bit later, some of May's friends came along too. I remembered a pair of them, Lesley and Sophie, who did have a crush on me when we lived there. Both of them looked really good, and it was fine seeing them again.

-Well, you didn't tell us...what did bring you here? It must be pretty serious...

We were in a burger. May and her friends were at a table, and Jerry, Sue, Matt and me were sitting at another one.

-Kinda, yep. I have just found out I was adopted. Well, Sue and I were, in fact....-and I told them everything-I came to find out who are my parents, or if I have more siblings.

-Wow! Would have never imagined this...but...I think I know who can help you. Do you remember Mary Carson?

-That brunette with big, dark eyes? She was rather...arrogant, wasn't she?

-A bit, yeah...well, we are dating now. She's not arrogant any more, by the way. Well, the thing is, her father is the police commisioner , it will be easy for him getting clues about your parents.

-Oh...but, why would he do that? He doesn't even know me. And Mary...we were not the best friends at school...

-Because I'd tell Mary to ask him. And you're wrong about Mary, she's changed a lot in this time. She'll be glad to see you.

-Ok, Matt, you win. Tell all this to your wonderful Mary, and let's see what happens.

-No, you tell her. She'll be here right now, she also wanted to see you. There she is. Mary, over here!
