Farewell, my dear, it's time to go
my expiration date is overdue.
You know I love you so
so please don't be blue
You knew this was coming, too
we aren't the only ones this has happened to.
It feels as if we're alone, though
All I see are foes.
They tell me,
"Sweetheart, you should never fall,
You'll only fall to crawl."
They say I shouldn't have loved you,
My dear,
I don't care,
Because even if our parting breaks us,
I'm happy to be broken,
by you.
This bittersweet ending,
must come to a close,
Farewell, my dear,
I hope goodness will flow,
From the top of your head to your biggest toe.
Farewell, my dear,
And know I loved you so.
