Sorry abut how short this chapter is, but the next one will be Hyrum again, and it should be a bit longer. Have fun!

Finally, I'm getting some answers. After the whole thing with Carter, I was ready for answers. Hannah was too. I was totally psyched to figure out how he coded that invisibility shield. Hannah wanted answers too.

"Alright, tell me how you sent that ring to me. It just popped out of my phone," she said.

What did she say?!

"I just simply teleported it."

"Wait, hold on, you're saying that you can teleport stuff?!" I said.

"Yep, I'm lost," said Hannah.

"How do you do it?" I asked. He better give me answers.

"Let's sit down," he said. "We look a suspicious. By the way, we have five minutes until Carter comes back." He walked over to a table nearby and sat down. I forgot we had been standing. We followed him, setting our bikes at the edge of the table.

"Alright, I simply broke down the ring molecularly and sent it out over wirelessly to your phone, Hannah. Anything else? We have three minutes."

"Uh, yeah, how did I know what to do to Carter once I put the ring on?" Hannah asked.

"Think of it as a brain Flash Drive. It connected to the nerve in your finger and sent the info I had downloaded on it to your brain. It also sent a brief power boost to clear your mind."

Alright, this was sounding legit. I was ready to get hooked up.

"That is too cool," I said.

"Hey, how'd you make an invisibility field earlier?" asked Hannah.

"Ah, you found that out. Great job. I was expecting as much. I opened a dome of special nanobots that are like filters. The cameras and other people only see what I want them to see."

My mind was blown yet again.

"What made you think of pulling up the cameras?" he asked.

"I just wanted to rewatch our conversation, and try to see why your phone was throwing me off." she said.

"Great, everyone's a stalker now but me," I said.

Isaac laughed. "Ok, so are you guys in?"

"I'm in, let's get this going," I said, standing up. Hannah stood up as well.

"I'm in too," she said.

"Great," said Isaac, "'Cause we gotta go. Carter is coming."

As we wheeled our bikes away, Isaac stopped mid-track. He turned around, and then, a beep came from his watch. Isaac glanced down at it, and then all of a sudden jerked back, and pulled Hannah and me into another force field. Then, the school exploded.
