So, I think that the next one will finally be Isaac, so you can look forward to that. Sorry about the large gap, lot's of things have been going on.

I was thrown back in my seat. I heard shattering stone, and metal tearing. Then, smooth riding. I opened my eyes. We were driving down Central Street. I looked out the window and saw a gaping hole in the wall with broken rebar hanging out.

"Tessa, I got a little banged up. Please engage autopilot and take us to Bunker 175."

"Ok ma'am, autopilot set to Bunker 175. Estimated flight time 10 minutes. Enjoy your ride, Hyrum."

I stared at the screen. Tessa looked right at me.

"You don't think I noticed you?" she asked.

Isaac chuckled.

I was jerked back into reality.

"Hey, why didn't you get Hannah?" I demanded. "You made it sound like we are dispen-Whoa!"

The car was tilting back.

"What's happening?! Is Carter here?"

Isaac looked at me blankly. I forgot he couldn't hear. Tessa answered.

"No, I'm engaging flight mode."

"Flight mode! You mean this thing can fly?!"

"Yes."

I couldn't believe it. Flying cars have always been on my top things to invent. I looked out the window and saw wings coming out the side. Soon, the ground fell away.

"That is too cool," I said.

"Hey Tessa, do you think you can fix me here?" said Isaac.

"I'll see what I can do," she said.

Isaac's seat went flat. A clear casing went around Isaac. Several robotic arms with several curious tools came out of the sides of the seat. A screen came up on the side of the casing, showing vitals. A scanner-looking light appeared and moved over him.

"Body scan complete. Signs of electrical overload in arm version 4.53.28. Spread to right eye and both ears. Searching for cause of overload. Cause found. Cause fixed. Commencing repair, control to arm and and eye returned. Hearing returned. Not all functions are able to be repaired. Estimated time of repair is 2 minutes."

As I sat there, I started to think about Hannah, wondering what Carter did to her. It was still bugging me at what that device that Carter used was. Which ultimately led me to thinking about what Isaac had done with his arm

Speaking of the arm, Isaac was sitting up, stretching it, looking fixed.

"That's better," he said. "Thanks Tessa."

"You're welcome. Anything else, ma'am?"

"Just get us to the bunker," Isaac sighed, a little irritated.

"So how'd you change your arm into different stuff when you were fighting Carter?" I asked.

"Oh, yeah, that," he said. "My arm is just a bunch of nanobots."

"Are you a cyborg?" I asked.

"Kind of, I just have bionic parts."

"Can you take the arm off?"

"Yes, but I have to get it calibrated when I put it back on, and it's a pain to do that."

"Oh. Is your eye and ears also nanobots?"

"No, they're just mechanical. But they're a huge help on missions. The ears can hear up to a half-mile radius, and the eye can display stuff in my vision, as well as an aiming crosshair for weapons that fire projectiles."

"That's actually pretty cool," I said. "What caused you to get this stuff?"

"I lost my eye to disease. I lost my hearing when Carter set of a sonic bomb. I lost my arm when I was training and a bomb went off in a secret bomb storage unit next door. A rack of swords came right at me while the ceiling was collapsing. One came spinning by and neatly severed my arm off."

"Wow that was bad luck. How do you control all this stuff?"

"I have a basic computer in my skull to process it and connect it to my brain."

"That's pretty cool. Does it also make you smarter?"

"No, it's just there to make sure my brain doesn't explode. I don't really need a computer to make me smarter anyway," he responded. There was a long pause.

Why are we going to a bunker?" I asked.

"I need to finish getting fixed, and figure out what to do next."

"Like going and getting Hannah," I stated.

"I can't risk losing you. I have to get what I can right now. You need to recognize that there are bigger things going on right now. That fight between me and Carter earlier, that was nothing. We've leveled cities."

"Wait, you destroyed Rivergate and Ether?"

"Yep. That's why Carter thinks I've been kicked out of the mafia."

"But what about-"

"Hyrum," said Isaac, turning to me. "You need to realize that you are part of a much bigger picture here. You need to come with me, and if you don't stop, then I'll have to use force to get you to stop. The world, as you know it, is going to get a lot darker if you don't come with me."

"I didn't tell you this earlier, but there is a more important reason for me to recruit you then Carter. The mafia is splitting. For a quick background, this particular mafai deals with hacking. It used to be simple stuff, like getting more money. Then it was helping countries in recent wars. Now they're being hired to do people's dirty work for them. The mafia was most likely going to continue that way, but then someone came in that wanted to do things differently." He paused.

"What happened?"

"I'll explain later. We're are almost at the bunker."

I looked out the window of the car to see green fields passing by.

"Where are we?" I asked.

"Germany."

"Whoa, wait a second. You're saying we traveled to Germany from the US in just ten minutes?!"

"Yeah, pretty sweet right?"

Red lights started flashing in the car. "Warning, missiles detected," said Tessa. Another screen turned on, show a radar with a couple dots closing in on us.

"Crap. Hold on Hyrum," said Isaac, grabbing the wheel of the car. "Disengage autopilot, Tessa, time to have some fun."

"Yes, ma'am. Autopilot disengaged. Anything else?"

"Yeah, put up the collision shield."

"Yes ma'am-"

An explosion rocked the back of the car.

"Oh yeah, it's time for some real fun."
