Fear shot down Newt's spine as he saw Grindelwald, stalking his way into the room and balancing a wand in his hand. Newt furrowed his brow as he took in the presence of his wand until a terror seeped its way into his bones. Grindelwald was in possession of the Elder Wand. A wand most powerful, something that was spoken of only in fables. But Newt knew it from his time with Dumbledore and had been trained on it. The deathly hallows were a myth, but he knew they were true. Newt drew his wand, and Tina did too, shielding Credence with her body. Dust blew its way around the room, and Grindelwald was followed by Rosier, who had a coy smile plastered on her face as she took in the sight of the three.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" Grindelwald cooed, his tone amused. "Looks like someone's been a bit naughty." His gaze shot through Tina to Credence, who shook with terror. Tina took a step forward, a glint in her eye Newt had never seen before. Despite the fact she was standing face to face with her greatest enemy, she stood tall.
"Don't touch him," She spat out, casting an arm over Credence. Shadows started to build beneath them, no doubt from the obscurial that tried to get loose... The floor creaked beneath everyone's feet, and a wind started to pick up outside. Newt looked to Tina, then back at Grindelwald.
"Alright. Incarcerous!" Grindelwald yelled, and chains began to wrap themselves around Credence as the jinx hit him. Tina didn't have enough time to block it, but she whipped out her wand and began throwing curses in Grindelwald and Rosier's direction. Credence began to cry, thrashing about as the obscurial began to reveal itself, its power growing stronger and stronger as Credence grew more upset. The floor began to vibrate under their feet, the room shaking as his power grew. The chains around him broke as he screamed, and Newt and Tina realized he was screaming at them. "Get out! Go underground!"
Tina ran into Newt's arms and disapparated, leaving the building right before it exploded and was sent into smithereens.

Newt and Tina arrived in a dark subway, the trains long since stopped for the night. "We don't have a lot of time," Tina said, looking around and surveying their surroundings. "I called for help the moment I heard Credence. I told them to rendezvous here. Theseus should be here any minute, we can catch them up and then... oh, Credence, what have we done?" Tina was talking a mile a minute, and Newt tried to slow her down.
"Tina, my love, slow down. One thing at a time. Credence will find his way back to us. I told him to hide before we apparated. If he's alive, he'll be hiding somewhere where they can't find him. If they survived the explosion."
Just then, Theseus and an entourage of aurors came bustling down the stairs into the subway. "We know," Theseus called. "We had aurors stationed in the apartment. They alerted us of Grindelwald's return."
Just then, a voice was heard above them all. Grindelwald's voice. He had found them, yet again. And this time he was with an army.
Fighting broke out among the crowd. Newt and Tina were separated, fighting on opposite sides as Grindelwald watched the battle unfold beneath him. "We won't have to do any work," he mumbled to Rosier. "Our army has grown so much that they may as well kill themselves."
Tina ran up the stairs toward Grindelwald, but she kept getting blocked by his followers. A familiar blonde stood next to her, and she looked in shock at her sister.
"Queenie? What are you doing here?" Tina yelled, dodging a curse. She turned in a circle and cast a spell at her attacker.
Queenie waved her wand around and sent a jinx flying in another one of Grindelwald's followers' direction. "Flora got the call as soon as we apparated in. I couldn't leave you. Jacob is safe but... you don't need to fight alone. Stupefy!" Queenie's curse hit one of Grindelwald's followers in the chest, sending them flying back.
"This isn't your fight!" Tina argued, dueling another person now. She won easily, sending them flying back as well.
"Grindelwald wants to fight against the no-majs. It might as well be," Queenie retorted, turning her back to Tina and covering her. An explosion of rock behind them caused the sisters to be separated, Queenie tumbling to the bottom of the stairs. A loud cackle was heard from above them, and Tina turned to face Grindelwald, the Elder Wand poised in his hand. Tina knew the risk. She knew what she would be sacrificing if she made the choice, but she did it anyway.
Tina turned her back to her sister, beginning to duel Grindelwald.
Just in time for Rosier to yell, "Avada Kedavra!"
