Beautiful, black flurries floated in the air as the magic from aurors' wands faded. It was done. The obscurial had been destroyed, and now there was only Percival Graves to take care of.
What the aurors, Newt Scamander, and Tina Goldstein hadn't seen was the weak, cowering male figure crawl out of the train station, sneaking his way back into the bursting city of New York. While Percival Graves was captured, Credence Barebone was making a grand escape.
He reached the alleyway where he'd meet Graves and sobbed. Everything inside him was cracked open. He had no home, no family, no friends. But that was to change soon.
At the first sight of the familiar black magic surfacing, Credence ran.
