Alone

I stood alone since the beginning of time
I, me and myself
Invaded by aliens from all around
Surrounding me from all sides
Preaching godliness
And the beauty of civilization

Tricked by all diverse sorts
They had come to steal from me
Indoctrinated their cultures to my people
I tried to fight back but i couldn't
They left... Leaving behind a tattered
And dismembered me struggling to survive

I cling unto them...I've become dependent
So they might help me become whole again
But that was a part of their trickery
Secluding me in a corner
My people all strangers in strange lands
Compelled with their way of life

I tried to remember all the promises
I tried to forget about my loneliness
For i know I'm still left out of the white circle
But still i trod without hesitation or want
And focus on the narrow misty road ahead
Till i bloom like the rose in summer
Even though i have no spring, autumn or winter.
