Reiji Sakamaki *Rules*

(Advance warning: I'm sorry if this seems a bit OOC. It has been a while since I've watched Diabolik Lovers)

Now today was no different than any other day for you. You sat on your bed with a heavy sigh before getting up and dressing in your normal dark clothing and getting ready for the day's chores to begin. You pushed your (h/l) (h/c) hair out of your face, licking your lips and letting your tongue linger on your normal canines. Your (e/c) eyes stared at the door to your room, dreading even leaving what little comfort you had inside of your room. Living and practically working at the Sakamaki house was horrible, especially since you weren't a vampire.  You left the room and descended the stares. You groaned in response to a good evening from Yui. Truthfully, you couldn't tell if it was evening or not since the curtains remained closed. Yui left to handle some business somewhere else. Subaru was out in the crypt listening to his music. And the others were gone to who knows where to do who knows what. The only other person you could guarantee was home was Reiji and that was because you heard the chemicals bubbling as you passed by his room. Every day you had a set list that you had to accomplish and if you strayed from it, Reiji knew. Always. You didn't know how he knew but he did. You started on the list, carefully completing and marking off each task. About halfway through the list, you were accompanied by none other than Reiji himself.

"Making great timing as usual (Y/n)," he said plainly.

That was one of the only compliments he ever gave you and you only responded with a nod and a more pleasant groan.

Reiji left the room and you finished the chore you had been working on. You walked upstairs to start your next task, passing by Reiji's room, but pausing only for a moment. You could hear the potions and chemicals bubbling but there was the lack of his presence that confused you. One of the few rules Reiji gave you was to stay out of his room, especially if he wasn't in there. Of course, being told not to go was tempting you more to go.

"I shouldn't..." you whispered to yourself. 

You took a few steps past the room, but stopped, glancing behind you. After a few more moments, you found yourself backing up, your hand opening the door as you peered inside. The door creaked only for half a second as you raced inside, shutting the door. 

"Reiji and his rules. So tempting," you spoke aloud.

Another rule Reiji cast on you, should you break the rule about going into his room, not to drink the lavender liquid in a small vial. They were always oddly specific rules. It wasn't even possible that he could come up with rules following your every possible move. But he somehow managed to do it. Because if by some stupid miracle you did drink the liquid, there would be consequences that only Reiji could fix. A soft laugh escaped your gentle lips. You didn't even see a vial of a lavender liquid. You walked around swiftly, making sure you got a good look at the room he so desperately kept hidden from you. It's not that everyone else wasn't allowed, but you specifically weren't allowed in his room. Maybe it's because you were next door to his room. You pulled open a drawer in a desk and found some papers. Under the papers was a book. You opened the book, the first few pages in another language. The more you flipped, the more suspicious it seemed. Halfway through the book, the pages hollowed out and in the middle was a vial of lavender liquid. You couldn't help but let a smirk tug at the edge of your lips as you removed the vial, placing the book back.

"What's the worst that this could do? I'm already dead from the drainings..."

You opened the vial, smelling the contents.

"Sweet. Like strawberries." you breathed out a content sigh.

With a few more quick glances around the room, you brought the vial to your lips, tossing back the small amount of liquid. Nothing happened. Nothing but a content sound coming from you from how good it tasted. 

You sighed, "Those were just scaring tactics I gu-" your words were interrupted, or rather just didn't come out.

The vial fell from your now tingling fingers, shattering on the wooden floor. You couldn't quite comprehend what was happening. Your fingers tingled and your body actually felt cold for once. It was an unnatural feeling and you really didn't like it. What had Reiji put in the vial? You took some steps forward, trying to make it out of the room before he noticed. By the time you reached for the doorknob, the door swung open. Reiji stood staring down at you, his red eyes boring into your (e/c) ones. You stumbled back, tripping over your own feet it seemed.

"R-Reiji..." you stuttered out, your body wavering as you nearly fell to the ground.

Reiji's eyes were angry but amused as he caught you, holding you close to him, "It's like you want me to hurt you. I gave you so few rules and you broke them."

Your eyes flickered to his, though they left his gaze, unable to look him in the eye, "The v-vial... what..."

"A poison." Reiji explained, "A special concoction made just for you. Because you're still a young and naive child, no matter how many times I warned you."

"Just for me?"

Reiji nodded, "It only affects your body and your blood. Specific to your DNA."

You tried to keep your focus, your eyes trying to stay steady but the room was beginning to spin, "H-help Reiji-san."

Reiji chuckled darkly, holding one of your wrists tightly and pulling you closer to him by your hair. Your chest was pressed firmly against his and he had his face buried deep in the crook of your neck. His tongue gliding across the closed fang marks from the last time he drank from you. Reiji and Shu were the only ones who were allowed to drink from you and everybody knew it.

"Why should I when you don't wanna follow my rules?"

"Please..." you begged softly, a whimper escaping your lips.

"The only way for me to save you is to drink the poisoned blood from you. By now it'll be a lot so beg. Beg me to drink from you and I'll do it." Reiji agreed.

He released your hair and turned your chin so your eyes were meeting, "P-please Reiji. W-will you drink my blood? Reiji-san I want you to drink m-my blood."

Reiji smiled devilishly in satisfaction. He turned your chin away and took no hesitation in sinking his fangs into your neck. A gasp of pain escaped from you as he did and you winced. However, the more he drank, the better it felt. The pain faded and you allowed pleasant sounds to escape your lips, to which Reiji chuckled darkly in response. You could feel the blood being drained from your body, but you weren't complaining as your body throbbed in delight from the sensation. Reiji pulled back, licking the blood from his lips.

"You sound like you're enjoying this a bit," Reiji mumbled against your neck.

You would've blushed if you had any blood to spare, "I-I just..."

You couldn't finish your response as he sunk his fangs into your neck once more. He was drinking a bit more than was necessary but he wanted to enjoy the sweet sensation. When he felt your body beginning to go limp he stopped. He licked the new puncture marks, stopping the blood that ran out and carried you to your room and laid you on the bed.

"Next time (Y/n), maybe you'll listen to me and obey the rules," Reiji warned, pushing his glasses back onto his face.

You bit your lip gently as you looked into his eyes. Reiji raised a curious brow, tapping his chin with his finger.

"Unless you like when I drink your blood like that." Reiji assumed, to which you turned your gaze away.

Reiji chuckled and walked to the door, preparing to shut it, "R-Reiji..." you spoke weakly. Reiji turned to look at you, "Some rules are worth breaking," you said with a weak smile.

Reiji paused for a moment before turning to leave, "Then what's the point of rules at all?" he asked as he shut the door, leaving you without another word, to recover from the situation.

I'm sorry if this was kind of bad. I had a plan but as I was writing it out I lost where I was going with it (*/_\*) But I hoped that some of you enjoyed it none the less. And I can't believe how much I update this one. I should probably work on the five other stories I've been starting but are barely halfway into. Anyways thanks for reading. Vote, fan, request. ~Jade
