Inuyasha *Kitsune*

(A/N: Kitsune means fox demon)

Your breath was ragged and your (s/c) skin laced with light scratches and bruises. You hurried through the trees, bounding across the Forrest floor. Your (h/l) (h/c) hair was messy and ruffled in the quick wind until you found a clearing. You lept high in the air, preparing to land when the well in the clearing shone a blinding light followed by screaming voices. The light was bright enough that you failed at landing, skidding to a halt after rolling a few times on the ground.

"Inuyasha how many times have I told you you can't keep coming to get me from my era!" A woman's voice shrieked out.

"Oh yeah!? And how many times do I have to tell you that we have jewel shards to find and oh did you forget Naraku is after us?!" yelled a raspy but husky voice.

Your eyes adjusted as you watched a guy with white hair and dog ears climb out of the well holding a girl in odd clothes in his arms and an unnaturally large bag that was fully loaded on his back. Complete with a bike and all it seemed. Once on the ground the guy dropped the girl on the ground with a 'hmph'.

"SIT BOY!"

A loud crash filled the air and you jumped back slightly as the white haired guy hit the ground. He was angry but before he could fume at the girl his attention faltered and he immediately turned in your direction, hiding the girl protectively.

"Who the hell are you?!" he growled.

You were covered in dirt and you were still trying to catch your breath when the girl spoke, "Inuyasha that's no way to talk to someone! Can't you tell they're injured?"

It was true. As the one named Inuyasha looked over your body it was obvious to him that you were a fox demon and to you he was the infamous half demon Inuyasha that was rumored through the worlds. One of your ears on your head was folded over a bit limply, your right leg had a puncture wound in the back from an arrow that didn't fully pierce through, and you were riddled with other injuries.

"Kagome stay back. There's no telling what they'll do." Inuyasha said.

Before you could reply you heard rushing footsteps and shouting voices.

"Kitsune!"

"Where the hell did that kitsune go?!"

"Kill it quickly!"

"Protect the village at all costs!"

The threatening phrases echoed as villagers poured into the clearing, weapons raised and ready to attack. Your eyes widened a bit and you instinctively ran.

"Hey get back here! I'm not done with you!" You thought it was the villagers but it was actually Inuyasha.

He was chasing you very easily through the forest, having entrusted the female to the villagers it seems. You ran far until you stumbled over the edge of a cliff. It wouldn't have been a deathly fall but a painful one no less. That is until Inuyasha snatched your wrist and jolted you quickly back onto the edge.

"Jeez watch where you're going! Are you trying to get yourself killed?!" Inuyasha yelled as he released his tight grip.

You narrowed your eyes and stepped back cautiously, "What do you want? Why are you coming after me? I haven't done anything to you."

Inuyasha huffed and crosses his arms, "Will you shut up and calm down? I came to ask what you did to the villagers so you can fix it. Cause we have to stay there and Kagome won't stop nagging me until we figure it out. So out with it."

You scoffed, "Bowing to a mortal? How pathetic. I'd heard of Inuyasha the silver haired half breed." You began walking back a little bit as he stepped forward angrily, "Of course I never believed in the rumors. Half demon or not, you are powerful. And I saw you the day you broke free from that wench Kikiyo's spell. Oh the rush I felt watching you take what was rightfully your's. It was invigorating."
