"You know very well that I'm not kidding with that Kathy you know but you always do it all the time and I'm tired of always reminding you that. "
"It's okay I wouldn't do it anymore okay ? Never again, I promise. "
"Okay never? "
"I promise you"
Two months it's been three months since we moved and it's been two months of friendship with this stranger who became like a sister for me. It's weird this feeling to know her, it looks like we knew each other since childhood . She is the only one with whom I was myself, the one who understood me more than anyone, she was just the stubborn Kathrina Lee Johnson aka the crazy sassy cute Asian according to Alejandro.
School restarts soon and I'm really happy that we moved before the start of the school year even if I missed my old city it's like it was done on purpose for me to make friends here finally. I didn't think at all to that but with a beautiful mother who does everything for me to integrate easily I had no choice, I mean she is nice she is cool she is like a real mother to me but sometimes she does too much and it get kind of annoying and tiring. Sometimes I wonder who between us is 18 years old.
Today is Day-D, yes, it's not my wedding but it's the day I have to face for the third time in this miserable life that I have to face the eyes of the former students of this freaking high school where I have to spend 10 good months of my life to finally spread my wings and leave, to live, work and to study in the country of my dream "Canada". Yes it's still a dream now but I would do everything to make it a reality and for that I just have only one year. Anyways, I must already be ready but instead I'm here to go back and forth trying to find this jacket that I had already set aside for tomorrow but suddenly as every time it disappears I don't know where.
"Alison!" yelled Lucy my mother-in-law. I hear her heading to my room. "Alison my darling Kathrina is already downstairs she's been waiting for you for a long time now. What are you doing again? You're supposed to already be ready to go "
"I'm looking for the green jacket that I took care not to loose in a blink of an eyes for an hour already and I can't find it. "
"You're talking about this one" she said, showing me that well-knit fabric with the biggest smile. I don't know how she does it but it looks like she has an object detector in her, she always manages to find things with absolute ease.
"Oh thank you," I said, kissing her. "I don't know what I would have done without you."
"Probably nothing interesting"
"Okay, there's Mrs. Confidence coming out of her office" I said with sarcasm
I was going down the stairs and I hear Kathy talking to someone on the phone. When she turned around she was pissed off but when she saw what I was wearing she was laughing so much that I was sure we could hear her since Alaska.
