"WHAT??" I wanted him to withdraw his words.
"Mom is gone"
"Why ? It's impossible " I said
"It is," he paused " Rodolfo is out of his mind and uncontrollable. He broke everything in our house. I don't know what to do so here I am, pathetically begging you to come outside at 10 at night when you're suppose to be asleep and.."
"It's okay, I was with Kathy we watched movie when I receive your message"
"Sorry I shouldn't have bother you " he excuses his self.
" No it's okay. I would've done same things if it happened to me" I assure him.
"You know after the car incident, the guy in my house. I suspected that something wrong is up but now it's crystal clear. "
"What?" I said after hearing him "now I remember that you didn't have chance to tell me what really happened after it"
"You don't wanna hear it I promise you" he half laugh.
" After knowing that your mom kind of know me, being purchased by a van with tinted glasses, received unknown calls. I'm more concerned about that story that no one else so yes I wanna hear about it." I authoritatively said to him " and don't leave a single detail"
" Okay..." he conclued " it was after I called you before picking mom up."
[Flashback]
"I was about to call you, what's up?" she said.
"We have to talk" I said seriously.
"Oh oh, something bad ?"
"Yeah"
"The car again?" She asks.
"Yeah"
"What ?" she questioned " And if you say Yeah again I gotta kick your ass so hard that you will remember how was your first breastfeed" Wow. I'm shocked of what I heard. Now I'm agree with Brian that she's wild.
"The guys are in my house right now and they talk to Rodolfo" I hurried to reply "and dang it Alison!"
"Who's Rodolfo ?" She said ignoring what I said after his name.
"My step father " I sharply answer. I can't stand him, he can't be a father neither for me or no one else.
"Can you hear what they're saying ?"
" No, I can't approach his office he gotta kill me that's the rule number one" and yes I can't. I remember how he threatened me and Lucy when we were younger.
" Like it will stop you" she dare fully said.
" Maybe I gotta knock and just say to him that I gotta take mom from the hospital now, just to see how the guys looks like "
" Yeah good"
"You're doing something now ?" I asked
"No, I'm at Kathy's door steps but I think no one's home "
"Okay then come with me" I offer. "I'll pick you there" hopefully it's okay with her. I don't wanna appear sticky.
"Uhm... Okay " she finally answer
"Cool, see ya!"
She hang up and in a blink of an eyes I was in front of Rodolfo's office door. I can barely hear what they were saying to each other but I'm dying to know what happen inside.
I close my eyes and breath out before putting one ear to the door in question listening to what they are talking about.
