Chapter 3- A Misunderstanding

Kadaj rouse earlier then Cloud and he was hungry so he searched for the fridge and he found it and ate a chicken sandwich. A little later Cloud woke up and he heard footsteps outside of his door and he heard whispers from each side of himself and it sound like Zack's voice but... Zack is dead so how could it be Zack. Cloud thought then he responded,"i-is that you Zack?"
Before there was any response Cloud heard knocking on the door and it was Kadaj. Cloud said "Come in" and Kadaj walked in asking,"where are my blood related brothers?"
Cloud shook his head and he said,"in jail...after I let you live they shot me and though in the past you were the real problem, they seemed more violent at the time...and if were not careful, you could end up there too."
Kadaj nodded slowly and shut his eyes and said,"I'm gonna go for a walk...ok."
Cloud knew that something bad would happen to him if he goes alone so Cloud said,"I'm gonna go with ya, please let me."
Kadaj nodded and they left.
That day that was currently going had a murder happen and the police figured it was Kadaj since he was the only one they knew that would, Reno got hurt badly by someone and he figured it was Kadaj too... But truly it wasn't.
Cloud and Kadaj were walking around town and they came across lots of people but soon a bunch of people surrounded them and were all armed with weapons. Four of them grabbed Cloud and one tied a cloth around Clouds mouth and Kadaj tried to pull out his knife but six people grabbed him and he struggled and shouted,"Cloud, don't let them hurt you!"
Clouds respond sounded a little muffled and unclear,"Kadaj! Calm down and we will be fine!"
Three of the people holding Kadaj let go of him and the one directly behind Kadaj put their hand around Kadaj's neck and he said,"you need to pay for the murder you committed today, admit that you did it Kadaj...you attacked Reno!"
The person pulled harder with his arm to make it harder for Kadaj to breathe and Kadaj tried to shake his head but couldn't and he coughed over it. Cloud fought his way through hard enough that he got out of the peoples grip and he pulled the cloth down and he shouted,"let.go.of.him.now!" Then he pulled out his sword."otherwise."
The people noticed that sword and they bowed down and one said,"forgive us Cloud Strife, it's a misunderstanding...but he was responsible for the crime."
Cloud shook his head and said,"no...no he wasn't.." Cloud turned around and noticed Kadaj was gone and he shouted,"Kadaj! Kadaj! Kadaj where are you!" Then he heard sirens. "Oh no..."
Cloud ran after the sound and soon they stopped and Cloud stopped and he hesitated..and thought,'they must have caught him, I will go to the station right away.' And he ran to the police station and entered it and he heard almost crying that sounded like Kadaj and without even asking he busted into the room and he shouted,"this is only a misunderstanding! It wasn't him!"
The police turned to Cloud and one said,"the one that was guilty, you're just protecting him aren't you...sit down, we'll just question you too."
Cloud shook his head and said quietly,"I am the one who found the cure for stigma, and I defeated Sephiroth...spared Kadaj cause he only wanted family of his, now would you please let him and me go, did you check to see if Yazoo or Loz escaped? I'm guessing not, well come on Kadaj."
Kadaj stood up and stepped towards Cloud and he looked down and he said softly,"I...I don't belong here."
He sped up his pace and tried to get past Cloud but Cloud put his hand on Kadaj's shoulder and said,"stop!"
Kadaj stood still for a moment and he said,"no"
He shook Clouds hand of his shoulder and Cloud stepped forward after him and said,"where are you going."
"No where"
"Promise you'll come back?"
"No"
"But-"
"I don't belong here, people consider me as a monster."
Kadaj ran and Cloud muttered,"Ka...daj.."
Cloud the shouted,"come back!"
But he was already gone. Cloud ran out searching but there was nothing.
