Chapter 11- Light And Laughter

Yazoo, Loz and Cloud were the first ones awake, but all still weak. Yazoo tried to sit up and his eye caught Kadaj. He sat up and whispered,"Cloud, Loz...we're home, and...Kadaj is here..."
Cloud sat up, and said,"impossible. I killed him, is he alive, and I thought I was killed in that battle, who saved me?"
Yazoo shook his head and shrugged his shoulders, showing he had no idea. Cloud backed up, and stood. He sat above Kadaj's head on the ground, and he touched, just below Kadaj's neck, and felt him breathing. "Did he save me?" Cloud whispered and tried to glance at Kadaj's face. Sethirene awoke when Cloud spoke and she said,"yes, he did. He also killed Sephiroth, from what I heard, not even letting him speak."
Sethirene sat up and said,"he won't wake up, want me to flip him?"
Cloud gave a small nod, and she did. Cloud noticed that Kadaj was smiling, but it was very faded, nearly a frown, but it's normal when someone's asleep. Cloud felt his forehead and he wasn't fevered or anything, healthy and fine. Tifa awoke, and she sat up and hugged Cloud. She smiled and said,"from what he told me, you nearly killed him?"
Cloud turned to her and said,"I had no choice at that time, but I'm glad he's alive and..."
"He saved you." Tifa said, with a grin.
Cloud smiled and nodded.
Kadaj was slowly waking up and Cloud and Loz, and Yazoo stared at him and waited for his eyes to open. His eyes flickered open, and he smiled, and said,"nice to see you again. Cloud."
Cloud nodded, and stood in front of Kadaj, and bent down, and grabbed both his hands and pulled him up, and he hugged him and cried,"I'm sorry. I missed you. Thanks for saving me, little brother."
Kadaj gave a small happy laugh, and Cloud let go of him and he said,"who's next?"
Kadaj hugged everyone, not really Tifa though. Laughter and cries were heard all throughout the house.
It was now late, the day was fun, and peaceful. Everyone's pain disappeared over happiness, they never wanted the light and fun to leave.ever.
It was nearly ten o' clock at night, and from all the fun, everyone fell asleep fast, when they went to bed. Like always, Kadaj the Sethirene slept together, Yazoo and Loz got the floor, and Cloud is always in his own room.
(Sethirene's nightmare)
She was right where she was, when Cloud sent her out of the hideout and she thought,'was all that happiness a dream, is he still dead?'
She decided to go in and see. She stepped in and saw Kadaj laying on the ground bleeding, and she saw Loz and Yazoo knocked out, and Cloud...dead, from being stabbed to death. She saw Sephiroth turn around and he said,"he's dead, rather suffer pain or die now?"
She could not answer, she fell weak to her knees and cried. She heard a faded voice in her mind,"sister, sister, sister wake up."

She opened her eyes. Kadaj had his hand tightly gripping her side, and he said,"are you alright? Did you have a nightmare?"
Sethirene nodded, and gripped Kadaj tight and she said,"the dream...it took place back at the hideout. I woke up where you found me and Sephiroth killed everyone, and was about to kill me, as you laid dead on the ground."
Kadaj smiled, and said,"at least it was only a dream, I made a promise that I would not leave, and I'm going to keep it."
Sethirene smiled and fell asleep shortly after.
It was morning. Tifa was the first to wake up, but she did nothing much. Second was Loz, he just woke up Yazoo, but that was not smart, he suffered an uppercut in the head (siblings siblings, can never get along). Sethirene woke up, just happy her dream was not real, but when she tried to sit up, Kadaj woke up. Kadaj sat up, and stretched and yawned, then he said,"everyone had a good sleep?"
Everyone in the room nodded, but Sethirene just hugged him and said,"wouldn't have, if ya never woke me, in the time of my dream...well nightmare."
Kadaj smiled, and hugged her back and said,"why would I not comfort my little sister? You are younger then me, so you still need care."
Kadaj got off the bed, and stood up and yawned,"I'm gonna go see Cloud, see if he's awake."
Kadaj walked around the house to Cloud's room, and looked into the room. He saw that Cloud was still sleeping soundly and happily. Kadaj smiled and turned away and shut the door. He walked back to his room.
Kadaj went outside, and saw it was raining, but beautiful beams of light were shining through the Clouds. He took a deep breath, and took another step forward, and said,"please let every day be like this. I need happiness and peace, to remain, for everyone on my side."
"Who ya talking to? Well those will be your last words for today." Someone said.
Kadaj turned around and crossed his arms, and said,"I know you, the person who said I was responsible for attacking. Well, hope for revenge all you want, I'm not letting you touch my brothers."
Reno pulled out his gun, and aimed for Kadaj's leg, and shot. Kadaj fell, but before Reno could go seize him, Kadaj shouted,"Sethirene! I'm in pain, if Cloud's awake, bring him too!"
Sethirene ran out of the house, and knelt by Kadaj, and laid him out on the ground, and she put both her hands on his leg and said,"heal...heal big brother."
Reno came closer, but his time aimed for Sethirene's head. Kadaj stood up, and in front of the gun, and drew his blade. Reno starred at the double blade and said,"your blade, stained with the blood of innocents. You don't deserve life...you don't deserve to live!"
Kadaj jumped up and landed on Reno, and pinned him down, with his blade up to his neck and he said sharply,"I only murdered when I was possessed by Sephiroth! I killed him with this blade, this is not the blood of the innocent, it's the blood of chaos. Don't try to take revenge on me, or anyone, then I will spare your breaths."
Reno's partner Rude, was standing behind Kadaj, and he bent down and grabbed the collar of Kadaj's clothing, and pulled him up, and told Reno to get up. Once he was up, Rude pushed Kadaj down, and whispered,"we are stronger then before."
Kadaj shook his head, and said,"I don't want to fight... What do you want from me..."
Rude pulled something out, and pressed down on Kadaj's neck, and said,"it's easy..."
Reno knelt down and said,"our boss wants to speak to you."
Kadaj closed his eyes and sighed,"just bind me already, take me there. I won't struggle, but promise me, I can return here..please, my sister needs me.."
Reno grabbed a pair of hand cuffs, and pulled Kadaj's arm back to bind them. They pulled Kadaj up, and started walking, towards their bikes. Kadaj's back was leaning against Reno's, and soon they were on their way.

Sethirene ran in to the house, and Cloud was surprisingly, still asleep... but she didn't care. She went to his room, and grabbed his shoulder, and shook him, while saying,"Cloud..Cloud..wake up. People kidnapped Kadaj..come on Cloud, wake up.."
Cloud opened his eyes, and yawned,"describe what these people looked like."
"Uh...well..one had red spiky hair and a long thin ponytail, and the other was bald and wore shades." Sethirene said.
"Reno, and Rude, those people...*sigh*. I'm surprised Kadaj never killed them."
"He's not a murderer Cloud, from what they were saying, was revenge crap like that, and they're taking him to their boss."
Cloud stood up and said,"I know where he is, let's get goin'."

Kadaj stood against the wall, staring at someone named Rufus. Kadaj looked irritated, and he said,"I know you, and what do you want from me."
Rufus removed his hood, and asked,"what would you do if your mother was resurrected, or where she was when I had her?"
Kadaj gave him a death eye, and said,"if she was in the container she was, I would take it from you and throw it into the ocean."
"What's the most recent blood on your blade?"
"Sephiroth's."
"You killed him, did you? Do you forget about reuniting with your mother."
Kadaj nodded and said,"would you just let me outa here, I don't care to see you anymore."
Rufus pulled out a taser, and said,"first is punishment for attacking Reno previously, and just for everything you owe."
Kadaj noticed everyone in the room had a taser, so it would be three electric shocks entering his body. Kadaj froze and muttered,"I never attacked him. But if it satisfies you, do it."
They all press the buttons, and the electricity entered Kadaj's body, making him shriek, and after made him unconscious.
Cloud and Sethirene made it there, and they ran in without any permission. They opened the one door and saw Kadaj's motionless body on the ground, and the people around him, with extended taser's. Cloud stomped on the ground and shouted,"why did he deserve that, he never attacked Reno, nor did he commit any crimes recently. Sethirene, help him."
Rufus looked at her and said,"so this is his little healer friend, no wonder Reno aimed his gun at her."
"You threatened her, hurt Kadaj. You people are the same stupid Turks like always, I still won't forgive you for killing Zack, my best friend, and don't take Kadaj either!" Cloud shouted.
Rufus turned his head away from Cloud and said,"take your little friend away, we're done with him."
Cloud picked up Kadaj, and walked out, with Sethirene behind him.
They were home, but Kadaj was still unconscious from the shocks. Yazoo and Sethirene were asked to watch him, and make sure he's alright, while Cloud and the others make lunch. Sethirene felt his forehead, and said,"Yazoo, can you get a cold cloth, he's fevered."
Yazoo nodded and got one. Once the cloth was placed, Kadaj's breathing was steadying. Sethirene placed her hand over top of his heart, and tried removing all the electrical current in him.
A day past and Kadaj still never woke up. Sethirene and everyone else was getting worried about him, worried if he would die. Cloud felt Kadaj's pulse, and noticed it was beating very fast. Cloud thought he should go ask that Rufus, how long the affect on Kadaj would last from the electricity. He asked Sethirene to come with him, and bring his body.
