Chapter 18- Promise Broken

Kadaj watched as he parked. He saw he never got off it. Instead Yazoo bowed his head in his hands, and cried his eyes out. Kadaj looked at his one leg, and saw his clothes were torn, and he was bleeding. He slowly walked up to him, and softly touched his neck, and asked,"w-where is Loz... He went with you, where is he?"
Yazoo cried,"h-he's dead... P-" he got cut off by choking.
As Kadaj ripped him off the bike, he choked him to. He kicked him over, and got on top of him, pressing on his neck. Kadaj punched the back of Yazoo's head, and he cried,"y-you promised me! Now my promise is broken too! Because of your stupid idea. Searching for your first weapon. Heck no one gave that to ya!"
He punched him again, and kinda enjoyed the sound of his yelping, because he thought Yazoo deserved it. Kadaj stood up, and stomped on his back. Kadaj noticed Yazoo was starting to cough blood, and wheeze. Cloud walked out, peering at the bloodied ground. He saw Kadaj wasn't comforting him, he was hurting him. "What happened!?" He asked.
"Shut up. We have sister! It does not matter if I nearly kill him! He let Loz die!" Kadaj hissed.
He dug his heal into Yazoo's back, and punched Yazoo's head as hard as he could. Yazoo was now unconscious. He punched him one last time, and dragged his body into the house.
He just dropped Yazoo into the floor, and he screamed. Sethirene rushed in. He never looked at her, all he did was snap meanly,"heal him if you need! But he will suffer more when he awakes!"
She jumped, over the tone he used to speak to her. She knelt down by Yazoo, and felt soft spots on his body. She healed them. After she finished, she turned to Kadaj. "Where is our other brother?...Loz...?"
He turned around, with the saddest expression ever. Tears were rolling down his face, he had no smile, or any light in him. "He broke his promise...and because of that...mine is....mine is broken too...because of him... That's why I hurt him... But he deserved all the pain I caused, and he still needs more..." He sobbed.
Sethirene started to cry,"y-you mean...no...no... I can't lose anyone..."
He sat down, and opened his arms for a hug. She dove into him. He cried, and muttered the words "sorry" over and over again.
He heard Yazoo moaning, but it was more of an awake moan. He let go of Sethirene, and asked,"would you help me hold him down?"
She shook her head. He thought she would. He got down by Yazoo, and he held his neck down. He watched as Yazoo opened his eyes. The look on his face was filled with fear. Yazoo stammered,"I...I'm sorry....Kadaj.. Please listen to what I have to say... It might save all our lives..."
Kadaj pushed harder on his neck, and he hissed,"wait! You're telling me people are hunting us down again!?!"
Yazoo coughed, he tried to nod, but Kadaj would hardly let him move his head. It was getting harder for Yazoo to breathe, he struggled for air. Kadaj raised one fist, and swiftly brought it down, but Sethirene caught his fist, just before it struck Yazoo's face. He tried to smack her away, but she stopped his other hand. "It was only an accident... He never meant to let anyone die.. Let him finish what he was saying.. Kadaj, even if we lose someone I will still love you. Don't take it out on your brother." She slightly cried.
Kadaj stopped. He hugged her. Yazoo never moved, he was scared of him at the moment. Kadaj turned to Yazoo, and Yazoo flinched. He bent down, and pulled Yazoo into him. He wrapped his arms tightly around him, and muttered,"I'm sorry... I know it wasn't your fault.. Yazoo...we will remember our brother." He broke into a sob. "I'm sorry! Don't forgive me, if you don't want to!... The pain I caused you..you did not deserve it!"
Yazoo was shocked. After a seconds of silence Kadaj cried,"I should just let the life stream accept my life.. I begged to not be taken all those times, just because of my promise. The first time... I promised myself.. The second...I made a promise to sister..."
Yazoo never responded. He just realized Kadaj would've been dead all those times ago. Sethirene tried to hug them both all at the same time. She cried, and sobbed loudly. Kadaj knew he could not let he life stream accept him, cause Yazoo's and Sethirene's life would be slowly dissolved away. Kadaj stopped hugging him, and fell faintly down. He was overwhelmed. Yazoo and Sethirene picked him up, and laid him on his bed. Yazoo felt his wrist searching for a pulse, and he was still ok.

A hour later he woke up. To both Yazoo, and Sethirene laying by him, in his bed. He thought about his actions he used on them both. He knew he hurt Sethirene, and Yazoo physically, but neither of them have hurt him, in the time of happiness with his family. He tried to sit up, but both of them--Yazoo and Sethirene--grabbed his arms, and pulled him down. To brighten Kadaj mood, she tickled his neck. He laughed. Yazoo tickled his stomach, and he enjoyed the sound of his laughter.
Cloud was at the door thinking,'how the heck can he be laughing if his brother died?'
