Chapter 9- Sephiroth's Wrath

Kadaj woke up, still feeling pain, cause he noticed Sethirene moved her hand. He notices if he moves, she does not want to let him go. He knew it was his sister in all, but she must really love him or, still trying to make up for trying to kill him. Kadaj was looking directly at Sethirene and he said silently,"you awake?"
There was no response from her. Kadaj new that leaving would wake her and leave her scared, so he remained where he was. Kadaj saw Sethirene's hand moving and he thought she was awake. He tried to sit up but he got pushed back down and heard her say,"do you still need healing?"
Kadaj shut his eyes and nodded and said softly,"my heart still hurts a little." Kadaj said something else without thinking."thanks and sorry for make if you wa-"
Kadaj let out a pained scream. Sethirene put both her hands on his chest and said,"calm down..calm down...I know it hurts, we will put a end to this someday."
Fat tears rolled down Kadaj's face and he slowly nodded. Yazoo awoke from the scream and said,"what happened this time?"
"Sorry and thank you." Sethirene said.
"I see."
"It may be worse than the last one, but he's holding up well."
"Okay."
Yazoo stood up and punched the air and shouted,"damn him Sephiroth! We can't get a good sleep because of you!"
"You care about sleep, that much."
Yazoo calmed his action and said,"sure, in the past we were remnants on the streets, had no home, hardly any sleep. Living here has to be the best place for us remnants."
Cloud came in. He brought in a cold cloth and laid it on Kadaj's forehead. Kadaj calmed himself, and his breathing was slower and steady, and his eyes were shut. Sethirene placed a pillow, leaning against the back of the bed. She gently pulled Kadaj up and sat him against it, and he slightly opened his eyes. "I'm sorry about this. I know that you have suffered more pain then me. Kadaj, when we defeat Sephiroth, don't die in the end.." Cloud said.
Kadaj shifted himself up more and turned his head to look towards Cloud and he gave a weak "yeah" but then he fell asleep again. "Sethirene, you may stay with him for now but me and the others, have some errands to do, keep safe." Cloud said.
She nodded. When they were all gone, she laid Kadaj back down completely and she continued cuddling him. She liked the sound of his breathing, cause it let her know that he was alive. An hour later, Kadaj woke up, and before he could say anything, his mouth got covered. Kadaj let out a happy sigh, and looked over to Sethirene and she laughed,"don't say thank you or anything at night, not that I mind healing you..just, our brothers do."
Kadaj smiled, and turned away from her and he said,"continue to heal me, I just need more sleep."
"Ok" Sethirene said.

"Hey, can you sense him?" Cloud asked Yazoo.
"Not yet he replied." He replied.
"When we do find him, what do we do?"
"See what he wants, and eliminate him."
"Agreed."
They were searching for Sephiroth's presence, but found nothing at the moment. They came to a dark place and they could feel energy, but it was different, it did not match what Sephiroth had in the past. They did not care and they followed the energy and soon found him. "I see you found my trick, give me something, and I will let you live an extra month, maybe more if you be my slaves." Sephiroth said, not being completely visible.
Cloud stepped up to him and said,"what is it you want?"
Sephiroth's ghost stepped forward and said,"bring me the bodies of the other two remnants, dead or alive."
Cloud said,"never!" And Yazoo said,"we won't sacrifice our siblings just to live."
"Say what you want, they will be dead in my hands soon. Think about it, letting you know, I will come by and make him suffer, but this time he will not be healed by that Sethirene. Goodbye." Sephiroth said but then disappeared.
"He's coming back, we have to protect Kadaj and Sethirene..let's go back." Cloud ordered.

Kadaj and Sethirene were just having breakfast, since neither of them ate the day before. Kadaj was feeling happy and wished it could last forever but... If Sephiroth's spirit remains living, Kadaj could die in the future. He tried to pick those thoughts away, and he feels like nothing's wrong when Sethirene's either cuddling him, or touching him, he wonders how she possesses such great healing power. They finished eating, and they thought,'maybe we should go outside' so they did. Kadaj noticed they never cleaned the blood on the ground for a while ago and Sethirene pointed it out."what happened there?"
Kadaj shook his head and said,"when my brothers were disloyal to me, shot me a few times and I made it here but nearly bled to death, surprising it's still here when kids' visit often, but I never see them, from what I did in the past, they would still all fear me."
Sethirene hugged him and laid her head on his shoulder and said,"I don't see how you could be feared, you seem so kind to people..never leave, don't ever die...stay with us."
"I'll try my best, sister." Kadaj said and placed his hand gently on the back of her head.
Everyone else showed up and Yazoo was the forst to warn Kadaj and Sethirene. "He's after you two, Kadaj, he's gonna make you suffer worse than before pain tonight, and he wants you two, either dead or alive..and there's no hiding cause of us remnants, we can sense each other." Yazoo panicked.
Kadaj looked at Sethirene and said,"I believe you and...Sethirene, would you mind cutting them some slack, seems like their trip wasn't reassuring at all."
She smiled and nodded and said,"anything for you."
