Kadaj was stirring a soup he was making for everyone (including himself), and he was talking to Cloud. "So let me get this straight, they were wanting your, and the other twos' head? Well how were you saved?" Cloud asked.
Kadaj answered,"he wanted mine especially, since I am the ultimate, and all."
"Again. How were you saved?"
"Sethirene."
"How did she save you? She was bound to a chair...bound in chains."
"Seemed like a godly power. Her voice changed, and she melted and softened all metal around her."
"Godly? Well whatever, your life, and everyone else got saved..."
The ringer went off. "Set the table, Cloud. Six seats."Kadaj said.
Cloud went to do that. Kadaj placed the lid on the pot, and turned off the heat, and let it cool.
"Time for lunch!" Cloud shouted from the table--he was saving a spot for Tifa.
Yazoo came runnin' in first, than Sethirene, but Loz slept in. Sethirene tried to get the spot beside Kadaj, but the other side was takin' by Cloud, but Yazoo took it. She noticed Loz was not there yet, so she said,"hey Yazoo, would you mind going to get Loz?"
"*sigh* fine! don't take my seat." Yazoo said, and stood up.
The moment he was out of sight, she sat in his chair. He returned. Yazoo stopped, and said loudly,"I told you to not take my seat!"
She laughed,"sucks to be you. I have more tricks up my sleeve, than you know."
Yazoo sighed, and sat down.
They had a nice chat, and enjoyed the food.

It was dusk, but no one seemed tired at all. The day was a nice day, not a nightmarish day.
Kadaj wanted to go outside for a bit, to watch fireflies. The others agreed, but Sethirene wasn't so positive.
It was dark out. All there was, were dim lights from the fireflies, and sounds of owls hooting. Every time a owl hooted, Sethirene jumped, and grabbed Kadaj's arm, but he comforted her. They decided to walk out more. There was a tree root, that no one could see. Kadaj tripped on it, and fell--no one caught him. He flipped himself over, and said,"I'm fine, just maybe a scrape, or two."
A firefly landed on his nose. He gave a small laugh, and it flew away. Sethirene, and Cloud helped him up. Sethirene placed her hands on Kadaj's knees, and arms, so any scrapes would heal. Kadaj looked up at the night sky, and he asked,"where does the life stream lead? Is it possible to bring back the dead from it?"
Cloud answered,"I don't know, maybe Aerith's words could help, and Zack's."
Kadaj laughed, and said,"don't help. I don't even know who those people are...but they both sound familiar."
"They would. Because Sephiroth knew both of them, and you guys are remnants, but now, I don't consider you, or the others one."
"I see." Kadaj moved closer to Cloud, and put his arm around him."I wish I wasn't one, a descendent of chaos. Thank you for not considering me one." He laid his head on Clouds shoulder."thanks...big brother."
It was gettin' cold out. Kadaj thought it would be best to head on in now.
They were inside.
Kadaj laid on his bed, with his sister cuddled up against him--breathing into him. He shut his eyes, and slowly fell asleep.
