Kadaj was pacing still at a high pace. He had to have been miles away from Cloud's place and he did not even bring food or anything with him. He thought it would be best for Cloud and the rest if he never returned again, if not died. Kadaj saw someone looking a different way behind him and he started running again to make sure no one could find him and once the person he saw was out of sight he collapsed onto hard rock ground, which is he fainted but just before everything went black he hoped,'I wish and hope no one will find me...ugh.' And then everything went black.
The person that he saw did see him and walked after him as he ran and soon he came to Kadaj and he peered at Kadaj's motionless body and he said,"black leather clothing...hmm, short silver hair, huh...he must be from a rich family of some sort...or...no he's dead, well seems like he needs help, I may as well give him a lift to someplace, perhaps my own."
*blink*blink* Kadaj slowly blinked and he saw about five people unrecognizable crowded around him and he looked above him and saw nothing on the ceiling, it seemed he was in a cabin or something. "You're awake, welcome here...my husband found you motionless on the prairie land...was his prediction right, are you a rich man?"
Kadaj shook his head and he said,"I would rather not give my name either, cause I don't know who to trust..and though you helped me, I'm sorry I can't trust you."
"Sorry to bother you asking but would you're name happen to be Kadaj?" A man said.
Kadaj tensed and widened his eyes and before he could say one word, he felt something wrap around his neck and then pull back and he coughed and tried to pull the rope loose but it was already to tight for Kadaj to handle and he shut his eyes and felt his hands being pulled behind him and he said weakly but loudly,"what do you want from me."
As they were tying his hands one said,"we don't need evil roaming around...Kadaj, I'm sorry to say but if you make one wrong move, it's your end."
Kadaj struggled to get out of the ropes and the more he did the tighter the one around his neck was and every second it was getting harder to breathe and he stammered,"I......I live f-for...good...now, just give me a chance...C-Cloud gave me a chance..."
The rope loosened and Kadaj took deep breaths and then looked down and said softly,"Cloud Strife spared me...I just realized that maybe I'm not a black hearted man...all I said to him when I was awake after he spared me was 'sorry', whoever you people are.." Kadaj began to cry."I'm sorry...I'm sorry for makin' you suffer pain and maybe loss...and if you don't care to...don't forgive me."
They untied Kadaj, but one said,"Kadaj...I'm surprised just a simple sorry worked on Strife, heh, he's one that usually kills the enemy, he did to Sephiroth, but he never apologized so..."
A girl butted in,"you're free to go, but I'd say return to where you are living...Kadaj, you should get going now, it getting late."
Kadaj nodded and stood up and he walked to the door and opened it and it was windy and dust was flying everywhere but he took a deep breath and walked out.
Kadaj felt like he was in the middle of nowhere and he was in pain over what he has done and from where he was it was getting harder to breathe. He collapsed onto the ground by a large rock and his hair waved as the wind continued and he was helpless and lonely.
