Yazoo realized he lost his gun, the velvet nightmare, when they were searching for Sethirene. He asked Loz to accompany him searching. Loz said yes to go with him. They went to ask Kadaj about it, and if he wanted to come to.
"You're going out?! Have you seen the wether out there! It's possible of death, you should stay." Kadaj pleaded to both of them.
Yazoo placed his hand on Kadaj's shoulder, and said calmly,"that's my only ranged weapon. We will be fine. If you want to make sure we're fine, why not come with us."
"No...!"
"We are leaving soon. Make up your mind."
"I... I can't let you guys go... I made a promise...to sister that no one would die... What if... What if something does happen.."
"We will be back at dusk. No matter if I find it or not.. Have faith li'l bro."
Kadaj sighed, and turned away. He said,"Kay than. Go. And be quick."
"We will return. Faster than you know it. Both of us will, I promise."
Kadaj hugged them both, and muttered worriedly,"...goodbye...."
He watched them exit the house. He waved as they got onto their motor bikes. As they drove off he felt a sinking feeling in his stomach.
He was in his room, but he felt like he was falling into a abyss. His mind was not filled with happy thing that moment. He knew it was dangerous. He saw himself falling through black that's endless. He heard voices that did not encourage him. He was unable to push the feeling of worry away.
He laid in his bed, shut his eyes, and slowly dozed off.
There he was, in a dream. Still falling in the endless abyss. He heard words saying,"they will not make it." And,"they won't be saved." Those small sentences echoed in his ears. He saw images of his brothers suffering. One images showed Loz hanging from a cliff. Another showed Yazoo drowning. Tears fell from him, falling the speed he went through the abyss. The voice continued,"one will die, or maybe both. Worry and pray your heart out. They won't be saved."
The voice was slowly getting more clear, and familiar to him. Sephiroth. A shiver was sent up his spine. He screamed. He never wanted to lose anyone at all. He screamed as he fell. Over the abyss he could not hear himself. He felt something shake him.
He opened his eyes, and saw Cloud.
"I got a call from Yazoo, he found his gun. He and Loz are comin' back." He reassured.
Kadaj calmed down, and looked up at him, and smiled,"big brother... How far were they when they called?"
"Their location was out of town... I don't know where they are, or if their safe..."
"I just....I...I just had a dream.... More so a nightmare.. Sephiroth's voice was ringing through my ears, saying they will die... Or not return."
"How are you feeling?"
"That was off topic, but whatever." He crossed his arms. "I still feel like I'm falling in that abyss. It's endless. Endless of fear, and horror. I care for them, and I promised sister I would let no one go...and if..." He cried a little. "I broke my promise before. Plus this one is the largest yet. In the past, I laid there dying. Begging to not be taken in... Just because of the promise. Those times I seemed supernatural, was truly me begging to the gods, and Aerith."
Cloud patted his back, he tried to lighten his mood, but it didn't work. If they did die, he would've broken the promise. "They will return. I hope they won't die... But I can't make any promises."
Kadaj nodded, and laid back down.

He woke up. He heard the sound of a motor bike. He sat up, and ran outside. He only saw Yazoo.
