Kadaj woke up. It was dark, and he never knew where he was. Was all that happened a dream? No. He felt his neck with his arm, and felt underneath the bandage, and felt lotion, and small bumps. Because he was stitched up, he thought he was at their lab, just being healed so he could be a non damaged experiment. He felt on himself, and noticed he was covered with a blanket. He thought that if he was at the lab, they really were being nice to him. The lights flicked on. He covered his eyes with his arm, and said,"where am I?"
The voice, a voice he recognized said,"I'm sorry. Did I wake you."
"N-no... I just don't know where I am.. And what happened?"
"Look at who's talking to you Kadaj."
He got more used to the light, and moved his arm, and opened his eyes, and to his surprise, he saw Cloud and Yazoo. Neither of them really smiled at all. Kadaj had a flashback of his last seen of the fight, and he said,"Yazoo... Were you trying to murder me there? Cause the last thing I saw was you... And you never helped me..."
Yazoo shook his head, and said calmly,"to not let them take you. I'm sorry but hurting you close to death was our only way of saving you."
"I made you struggle for air, and he dug his heel into your chest. We truly never wanted to hurt you, but we were out numbered by them. Like hundreds versus two could never win...ever." Cloud said.
Kadaj sat up and said,"would've loosened that rope any later, you would've killed me."
Cloud walked up to him, and sat by him on the bed, put his arm around him, and said,"your sister still hasn't recovered yet. They poisoned her. The doctors are trying to remove all the poison that's possible to be left in her body."
Kadaj tried to stand up, but he fell right back, what did they do to him? He will never know why they were so violent about, he would've preferred a syringe being stuck into him, instead of be slaughtered by family and best friends. Yazoo got beside him, and said,"we are sorry Kadaj. We never wanted to. But we couldn't let you go."
He sighed, and laid back down, and said,"leave. You're the ones that killed ninety nine percent of everything of my life. I can handle stabs, better than being suffocated. Goodbye."
Cloud tried to place his hand on Kadaj's chest, but Kadaj slapped his hand away, and snapped,"go away. You can make up for it later. Once I'm out, you can."
"In case something happens... How about a hug, cause what if something does happen. Still consider me a friend." Cloud suggested.
Kadaj sat up, and started crying. He hugged Cloud tightly, and said,"what if they do find me, and take me... What will happen. I can't lose you, Yazoo, or Sethirene."
Yazoo joined the hug, and said,"it'll be fine. You won't die. Nor will we."
"You better keep that promise. Cause last time you let Loz die... If I do get found, and taken...will you still remember me?"
Cloud answered,"of course we would. You're my friend, and no one can change that."
He dried his tears, and asked,"can we go see sister?"
They nodded, but Kadaj just noticed the pain in his leg, and when he got up, he fell because of the jolt of pain. He was caught before he hit the ground. They helped him stand, and Yazoo asked,"do you need help walking?"
Kadaj shook his head, and took a step, but when he opened the door, the doctor was there. Kadaj stopped, and said,"who are you?"
"The person that removed the tracker, and is curing your sister... Why do you seem so shocked?" He answered.
Kadaj snapped out of his trance, and said,"I'm sorry. I just thought you were someone else.. Someone who I would hate to ever see again. Am I free to go?"
The doctor answered,"if you want to see your sister, that's fine with me. But you still have to stay for a few days. We've found out that the tracker injected other stuff into your body."
Kadaj nodded, and walked past him, but a shiver was sent up his spine.
In the room his sister was laying. She had an IV in each of her wrists, and a oxygen mask on, and something slowly taking her blood, and injecting clean and healthy blood into her. Kadaj gasped, and panicked,"w-was the poison really that bad... Now I sorta prefer that I was nearly choked to death. I would hate to be in a comatose state."
Cloud and Yazoo turned their heads away in embarrassment.
Though she was unconscious, he kissed her. She still never woke up. He cried slightly beside her, and prayed. He begged for his preys to be answered, but of they weren't... He pushed that feeling away. He noticed Yazoo, and Cloud were leaving, but before they did, he said,"did you guys think that doctor seemed odd?"
They shook their heads, and left.
Kadaj was left alone in the room, with his motionless sister. He cried harder, and he hoped no one would see it.
He turned off the lights, but never left the room. He just cried into his arms, with half his body on the bed. He thought he heard something, so he shut up for that second, and listened. The door opened a crack, and the light shone onto him, but he didn't bother looking, he knew it was the doctor.
The doctor pulled one of Kadaj's arms to him, and searched for his pulse, to check if his blood pressure was high or low. He had trouble finding his pulse, so he felt Kadaj's neck, but to that, he felt Kadaj jump. He touched his back to reassure him, and to know he was safe. He spoke,"it's nearly midnight. You should get back to your room. I also need to check your complete blood pressure."
Kadaj stopped, and stood. He walked out the door to his room.
He laid on the bed, and waited for the doctor to enter the room. He watched the door open, and the doctor entered. He had a needle, a piece of paper, a pen, the heart rate thing, and a bandaid. He rolled up Kadaj's arm sleeves, and poked the needle into him. Kadaj watched as he inserted it into a machine thing, and lights flashed telling the answer. The doctor walked closer to him, and said,"you're badly stressing yourself out. Your sister will be fine."
Kadaj coldly nodded, and covered the blankets over his head, and tried to sleep.
