Chapter 12- Hope On Life

They were on their way to the place, and Cloud made sure Kadaj stayed warm in the weather. The stop soon came, and they both held Kadaj, and entered the building. People in the place tried to stop them but Cloud always said,"I need help to recover my friend."
Most people let them pass, until they came to the room, guarded by Reno and Rude. "Just what do you think you're doing..poor remnant never recovered yet? Ha ha, I don't care. What do you need from the boss anyway?" Reno scoffed.
Cloud clenched his fist and said,"I care about him, you idiot! Let me in, I need to know something! I mean no harm to you or anyone...I-I just need help!"
They heard a shout saying,"just let them in!"
And it was Rufus. The doors opened, and he entered with Sethirene and unconscious Kadaj, and he nearly cried,"h-he hasn't woken up in a day.. It seems as he has panic attacks in his sleep, and no one is able to help him, not even sister... Please help me, he's going to die.."
Sethirene heard the words, and she slowly knelt down and started crying. Her tears were falling on Kadaj's face, and she cried,"I...I can't live without him, he's my comfort.. Save him! I cannot lose him him, please, help us..*sob*..."
Rufus glanced at both of them, and then down to Kadaj, and without hesitation, he said,"anything romantic should wake him up, or discomfort. Maybe water poured on his head. He's just panicked from what happened, he does not know where he is, so he does not want to wake up, cause he thinks he's dead, or in a chamber, and in a life of nightmares."
Sethirene raised her head and asked,"romantics, discomfort.. Me and him do that for each other all the time, we can try."
Cloud knew this was all the information, that was being given, though there is more. They both picked up Kadaj and exited the place.
Kadaj was laying on his bed. Sethirene cuddled him and sat up but it did nothing. She shouted Sephiroth was back, but nothing happened. She hugged him tight enough, that he coughed, but did not work. She poured water on his head, but nothing happened. She placed her hand on his forehead, but her healing did nothing. She was now down to a kiss. Sethirene pulled him into her, and made his face, facing hers, and she brought her lips closer to his but before they touched she thought,'he'll kill me if he wakes up to this, he seemed irritated at times when I kissed him on the forehead or cheek.'
She pulled away and muttered,"all we can do is hope."

Five hours past and he still never woke up. "Rufus said that he is suffering nightmares, maybe he needs extra comfort, but he feels no one cares too. You're the only appropriate person we have, go on, kiss him.." Cloud said to a trembling Sethirene.
Sethirene looked at him and said,"m-me! Can't someone else do it? If you won't, can't his brothers?"
"You are his sister and a girl, and none of us guys are gay, so you are the only one."
Sethirene looked at Kadaj and noticed he was having a little sleeping panic attack, and she sat down beside him, put her hand on his forehead, and another on his neck, and she said,"calm down, calm down. Brother, brother, Kadaj..."
She just had to let him calm down himself, she could do nothing, her healing had no affect on him. Once he calmed down, she went over top of him, and she held herself up with her arms. She was face to face with him, she lowered her head, and brought her lips to his, but this time she never hesitated, she kissed him, but after the first second she wanted to stop. She tried to raise her head, but his hand gripped the back of her head, and kept her down, kissing. She opened her eyes, and her first view was him, but his eyes half open. She never struggled to stop this time, cause she noticed he didn't mind. Their kiss lasted about a minute, and Sethirene was starting to feel a little uncomfortable, but to bring back her favourite brother, she would do anythin' for him. "Thank you sister, I wish it never happened." Kadaj said, just above a whisper.
Sethirene got off of him, and laid beside him, but turned over and hugged him, and cried,"I thought you were going to die! Brother I will do that every time you have a nightmare, cause I love you. And...and..."
Kadaj wrapped his arm around her and said,"don't worry...I'm sorry for causing you trouble..."
"It's not your fault, it's those people that hurt you for no reason..."
Kadaj smiled. Cloud and the others gathered around them and all murmured,"the kiss worked..."
Kadaj started to giggle a bit about something, and he said,"I was already half awake after my last panic attack, I heard you talking, and if I woke up the moment you kissed me, I would have reacted a little meanly. At the moment though, I enjoyed it, sister. I knew you would do it for my sake."
Sethirene cried a little and said,"brother...I was scared you would hate me, if I did it.. But why'd you make it last that long?"
"So you would know, I didn't hate it..I'm sorry if it made you a little uncomfortable, but I thought you would like it." Kadaj said.
Cloud butted in, and said,"Kadaj, you're telling me, she did not have to kiss you? Before she was very scared of doing it but she did, cause she loves you and... You had to make us worry about you when you were fine!"
Kadaj sat up, and tilted his head and smiled. He closed his eyes and said,"my nightmare wouldn't let me open my eyes, but I knew I wouldn't die. Those dreams I had, were worse than death, painful and threatening torture, I was alone, no one saved me. It was all a dream, it's over now, and sister can heal my thoughts for the night."
Yazoo came and spoke,"about that... She needs to come with us until late at night, would you be ok with that?"
Kadaj slowly nodded and gave a quick sentence,"yeah...okay.."
He was now used to the real feeling nightmares, but it's been a while since he had a real dream, a nice one.
