Me and Luke looked everywhere, the coffee shop, outside the arena, the hotel but Ashton was nowhere to be seen. We stopped right outside the hotel room we came out of about two hours ago and I sighed.

"This is all my fault, I set him off. Crap, what am I going to do. What happens if he's not back for the performance at the party?" I ramble on, panicking only to find Luke laughing at me.

"It's Ashton, he won't miss a party." He gives me a sympathetic smile. "It's Ashton we're talking about."

"He's never been so protective over me." I sit on the floor leaning my back against the wall next to the hotel door. "It was only Harry."

Luke sits down next to me, showing me his more caring side other to his cocky side. He nudges me gently causing me to smile a little, nudging him back.

"Harry can be a dick when it comes to girls." He says flicking his blonde hair to the side.

"I don't see what's wrong with him, I mean I've had a crush on him for what? Two years?" I laugh and cover my face. "Gosh, that's cringy."

"Gosh?" Luke mocks me. "You're nothing like your brother."

My smile fades a bit and I look down to the floor.

"I wouldn't know, he's not been around."

"I'm sorry, Lauren." He pulls me into a hug. "I know we don't know each other, but I'm here for you."

"Thanks." Is all I manage to say before he helps me get up and leads me into the room.

It's a tip, a real life dumpster. Clothes hanging everywhere, over the TV, the door and the floor. Pizza boxes covering the desk and tables in the room and the beds unmade.

Calum and Michael are both lying on their beds with a jar of vegimite.

"Vegimite? Really guys? Classy." I comment, taking the jar from them and the spoon. I sit down on the one free bed and lean against the wall eating the remainders of the jar.

"Woah!" Calum looks at me. "That's our vegimite. Get your own."

I blink and stare at him, giving him the glare telling him to leave-me-alone-I'm-not-in-the-mood and he sits back down in defeat.

Michael lifts the pizza box that still has a slice in it and gestures the box to me.

"I want another slice, but you have it."

"Why are you guys being so nice to me?" I say, giving him back his vegimite and taking the pizza box.

"We practactly class you as family, Lauren." Luke says and sits down on the edge of the bed making it dip slightly. They were all here for me, not just Ashton, they all had my back.

"Maybe Ash is with Harry and mum." I say, getting off subject and eating my pizza.

"I'll look..." Calum sighs and stands up reluctantly, making way for the door. He walks out and I wait. It feels like I'm not breathing, I feel like I'm waiting for something that isn't going to happen. But before I know it Ashton is slamming the door behind him making his way in without the intention of calming down.

"Why is she here?" He throws his hands up in the air, pacing back and forth.

"Ash you need to calm down, have sone vegimite." Calum says to my brother and tosses the vegimite in his direction. Ashton catches it, eating it from the jar. "You turn into a right diva without your vegimite."

Luke and Michael burst into laughter from the reference and my eyes burn into Ashton's. His gaze never leaving me, and if looks could kill, I'd be dead.
