Chris' POV- September 2016

With the season being over, there was no reason for me to be in Oklahoma City. I didn't really bring much with me except my gear and a suitcase full of clothes, but I still made James come and help me. There were other reasons for him to be here, and he was ready for confrontation. We'd be heading out in a few because we'd be making the drive from Oklahoma City to Los Angeles. The plan was that I was going to drop my stuff off, and help James drive up to San Francisco. I would spend 1 day there, and he would drop me off at the airport before his first class of the week. If all went well this break, I would not be back to Oklahoma City. Fingers crossed it would not happen.

"So how was it like to live with Chris?"

James looked at my teammate, Cody Bellinger who clearly looked like he had just woken up.

"It was a privilege" I stated.

I rolled my eyes as James cackled.

"You two are slobs" I noted.

"Hey now, he's only 21. He doesn't need to have his life set together yet"

I grinned at James.

"What about you? You're 25, shouldn't you have your life together?" I asked.

"Hey now! I'm almost a doctor!"

Cody's eyes widened.

"You're in Med School?!"

James chuckled.

"Believe it or not, Chris is pretty darn smart. You were some form of engineering major"

(A/N: I don't know if that was actually his major but for the sake of this story it was)

Cody looked at me surprised.

"Anyways, living with you is like living with James," I said in order to change the subject.

I looked at James who rolled his eyes.

"Just ignore him that's what I did"

I shook my head at James and glanced at the alarm clock on the nightstand next to my bed.

"We should probably get some lunch," I mentioned.

"Cody, want to come with?"

"Sure, my mom's not getting here until much later"

"Are you going to make her pack up for you?" I questioned.

Cody simply smiled.

"Yeah"

James chuckled.

"Well go change and comb that hair of yours. You look like a cockatoo"

Cody simply laughed as he left the room.

"How long till he gets here?"

"He always leaves at 12:30, on the dot" I answered.

Who was I talking about? Ezra. Turns out he had a fuck buddy who lived right down the hallway.

"Here you go, I won't be driving because my hand is going to hurt in a bit"

James had waited his due time to confront the douchebag who punched his sister. I wanted to punch him, but I had promised Camila I would not.

"Cody, hurry up!"

I took the keys from James and followed him down the hallway to the living room.

"Just meet us in the car" I called out.

"Ok!"
