"Yah! Kim Taehyung!" Jimin yelled into Taehyung's ear. "Get your ass moving. NOW."

Taehyung just groaned and turned over, ignoring his best friend. "I will tickle you," Jimin said, dead serious.

"I'm up," Taehyung said and walked to his bathroom to shower and freshen up. When he came out, Jimin had a already picked out his outfit.

"Why do you want me to look good?" He asked and eyed the clothes.

"Because...you're handsome and you shouldn't hide behind those oversized clothes."

Taehyung give him a small smile and slipped into the black t-shirt, faded blue ripped jeans and black Vans. He left his hair messy, rather than combing it down and picked up his leather jacket. He hated looking like this.

"Let's go." Jimin pulled him out and waved to Jisoo on the way.

"Jimin oppa," Jisoo said and grinned at both the boys.

"Jisoo-ah," Taehyung said. "Hyung said to wait at the neighbors'. I'll come back at 1 and I'll take you with me. And call me if you need anything."

Jisoo nodded and looked down. "Be safe, okay?" Taehyung added and poked her cheek affectionately.

The boys left and got into Jimin's car. The drive to Mark's party wasn't very long and when Taehyung saw where they were, he glared at Jimin. "Why are we at a party?! Who even invited you?"

"Mark is nice," Jimin defended. "He invites everyone."

They made their way into the crowded house, pumping with EDM. Taehyung knew most of the people but didn't talk to anyone, so as Jimin made conversation with Mark who had greeted them with the sweetest smile Taehyung had even seen, he stood in one of the corners, looking through Webtoon.

"Do nerds come to parties?" He heard a very familiar voice say. "Shouldn't you be in your room, studying the laws of physics?"

"And you should be in jail for all the things you've done, but here we are." Taehyung scowled at him.

Jungkook chuckled and walked closed to Taehyung, looking at him intensely. As he walked closer, Taehyung started to feel incredibly nervous and he looked down, avoiding eye contact. Jungkook was inches away from him, and Taehyung could smell the alcohol on him. Before he could say anything, his phone was snatched from him and Jungkook smirked at him. "Catch me if you can," he whispered and disappeared into the crowd.

Taehyung dove through the crowd of sweaty and drunk teenagers looking for the one asshole who couldn't leave him alone and muttered profanities at his bad luck. He spotted Hoseok in the sea of people.

"Hoseok," he said and looked around, hoping to find the younger somewhere in the crowd. "Have you seen Jungkook?"

Hoseok seemed surprised at the question but answered him nonetheless. "I saw him go upstairs."

Taehyung mumbled a thanks before dashing upstairs and looking through each of the rooms which were either occupied by couples making out or were locked. He walked into the last room in the hall and squinted to see better in the darkness. The lights had gone out.

He let out a small gasp when he felt someone grab his wrist and he was shoved into the wall. He could feel the persons' breath on his face and the proximity made his uneasy. When his eyes adjusted to the darkness, he saw Jungkook in front of him, his hands on either side of Taehyung's head.

"Hey," Jungkook said and looked at Taehyung. "Came for your phone?"

"Get away from me," Taehyung said and looked down, avoiding eye contact at all costs.

Jungkook chuckled softly and moved closer to Taehyung. The older held his breath, his heart pounding in his chest. He shut his eyes tight and anticipated the worst. He was quite surprised when he felt Jungkook slide his phone into his pocket and move away from him.

"What..." Taehyung breathed and looked at Jungkook, who only winked and left the room.

The next day at school, Jungkook stood leaning against his locker, waiting patiently for a particular nerd. He didn't know what the boy did to him, but his heart shook every time he saw the older and all he could think about was kissing his full pink lips.

As if on cue, Taehyung walked in with his friend Jimin and Jungkook pulled Yoongi as he walked up to the other two boys. "Taehyungie," Jungkook purred, smirking at him.

"Shut up," Taehyung said and pulled Jimin to leave but the little mochi was busy staring at the dark haired, pale boy beside Jungkook.

"Yeah...?" Jimin answered for Taehyung but focused on Yoongi, who stared into his phone, oblivious to the entire exchange.

Jungkook looked at Taehyung and "accidentally" flicked his hand over the others' books. The books fell to the floor and they boys earned a couple of stares from the other students. "Oops." Jungkook said and left the older, who looked at him murderously.

As Jungkook walked further, a familiar sound filled his ears, annoying the fuck out of him. "Jungkookieeee," he heard Jennie's voice say. She appeared out of thin air and clung to his arm, smiling wide.

"Did Jungkookie enjoy the party last night? You must have missed me. I'm sorry I couldn't make it, my stupid neighbour came over and had to stay until after midnight." She ranted on and on about how she missed him and her new hair colour till Jungkook pulled away from her forcibly.

"Jennie," he said with a bored look, "Can't you just leave me alone? Can you not tell I don't want to talk to you?"

"But you talk to the prissy little nerd," she said with a frown.

"Because I want to. Now leave me alone." He walked away with Yoongi, who was literally a pro at ignoring everything.

"Ughhhhh," Taehyung groaned. "He is so annoying. I hate him."

Jimin nodded but he hadn't heard a single word his friend had spoken in the last few minutes. His mind wandered back to Jungkook's friend, Yoongi. He smiled like a fool as he replayed the 2-second long eye contact they had made after which Yoongi looked back into his phone.

"YAH JIMIN," Taehyung yelled. "Stop grinning like an idiot. Pabo." He smacked the back of Jimin's head and the said boy scowled.

It was lunch time and Jimin had dance practice later, so he left early. Taehyung walked alone in the hallway, moving towards his locker till he saw Jennie walk up to him with a sneer on her face.

"Listen here, nerd," she said. "You need to stay away from my Jungkookie or you will regret it."

Taehyung stared at her, unfazed. "Maybe you should tell your Jungkookie to leave me alone because he won't stop annoying me."

Jennie scoffed. "Have you looked at yourself? Do you think you are any special that he would follow you around?"

"I don't know, am I? Because it seems like it."

Jennie sneered again. "You better stay away from him, or you will regret it." And she walked away, flipping her hair.
