Jisoo walked quietly through the hallway. Her friends had pressured her into attending the cheerleading tryouts because she was very athletic and she had complied, because she had nothing better to do.

She walked to the gym where a group of chattering girls had gathered. A desk stood a few feet from the and three unoccupied chairs sat by it. Jisoo looked at her watch, weighing her options. She didn't want to be a cheerleader, or even waste her energy on a stupid tryout, but if she went back, her lame friends would bore the life out of her.

The thought of leaving had only just crossed her mind when a girl whispered, "She's here."

Three girls walked into the gym, wearing unattractive bitch faces that made Jisoo roll her eyes. She was hardly paying any attention until she saw the girl in the middle. Who just happened to be her bitch of a neighbour.

Jennie seemed to notice this too, because she stopped in her tracks and looked at Jisoo with wide eyes. "You?"

Jisoo scowled. "Trust me, I'm wondering the same thing. I don't even want to breathe the same air as you, I'm out." The younger turned around leave, but Jennie's wicked laugh made her stop.

"What would you have done anyway? Flapped around like a goose?" Her posey of plastics laughed at her remark.

Oh no, she didn't. "Fucking try me," Jisoo growled and looked Jennie dead in the eye. "Knowing what a bitch you are, you probably would've rejected me even if I was good."

Jennie glared at her. "Fine. If you're actually good, I will pick you."

Jisoo smirked. "Deal."

Jennie's minions explained that a song would be chosen by them and all the girls would have to dance to the chosen song, displaying their flexibility, stamina and agility. Jisoo chewed on her bottom lip, dreading their choice of music but wore a smug smile as soon ass she heard Boombayah play on the tape.

"Since I'm not a patient person, you go first." Jennie looked at Jisoo as she admired her nails.

Jisoo panicked momentarily. Deep breaths. She had done this a thousand times. She can do this now. Dancing was a piece of cake.

As the song started, Jennie whispered to her bimbos and they snickered; Jisoo's confidence wavered for a moment. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes, remembering how she'd memorised the choreography to the said song and added her own moves- a few somersaults and flips here and there. When she opened her eyes, she was cartwheeling with one hand on her waist, the other on the ground. She flashed a few sexy moves, looking directly at Jennie, who's jaw was practically touching the floor. Moments later, Jisoo ended her dance with a spilt, one hand on her waist and the other in the air.

The gym was filled with the sound of claps at the girls standing in line stared at her in admiration. Jisoo looked back at Jennie. "Well?"

Jennie recomposed herself. "I guess...you're on the squad then." She glared at her. "Wednesdays and Thursdays after school."

Jisoo walked up to the older and leaned very close to her, looking her straight in the eyes. "I'll remember that." She turned back and walked out of the gym, the flyer she had pulled out from the pile on Jennie's lap in her hand, while the older sat flustered for the next few minutes till tryouts resumed.

Jungkook sat on the bleachers as football practice ended. Yugyeom sat beside him and gulped down a bottle of water before looking ar him. "You've been distracted." He stated bluntly.

Jungkook rubbed the back of him neck. "I know..." Kim Taehyung was messing with Jungkook's head. No matter where he went, what he did and who he met, he thought of Taehyung and beautiful brown eyes. His pink lips. And the beautiful moles on his face.

"What is it?" Yugyeom asked Jungkook, concern evident in his voice.

Jungkook hit him on his head and said, "It's nothing, dude. Chill."

"Whatever, I just don't want you messing up your game," Yugyeom said, looking away.

Jungkook stood up and walked to the changing rooms, heading straight for the shower. He sighed heavily as the hot water ran down his back, soothing his muscles. What are you doing to me, Kim Taehyung?

He changed after that and headed out to the hallways, towards his locker. He just had to take his back and head home soon after. But he stopped in his tracks when he heard voices from his classroom. He peeked into the room, careful not to make any noises and his blood boiled at the sight.

Taehyung sat on top of his desk, giggling while the boy who sat next to him, Baekhyun, Jungkook recalled, stood in front of Taehyung, one of his hands on the desk beside the Taehyung's thigh. Baekhyun said something and Taehyung burst out with laughter, hitting the other playfully on his chest.

Jungkook was seething with anger. He knew he shouldn't feel this way, but he did. He stomped off to his locker, banging it and closing his eyes shut. All he saw was the two boys, laughing and joking. "Fuck," he said and took deep breaths.

Baekhyun and Taehyung exited the room and the latter walked this locker. Baekhyun waved to the other and left through the back door. Jungkook looked at his hand as he mumbled, "Don't do anything stupid. Don't."

But his brain and body had stopped cooperating with each other. He found hinself walking up to Taehyung. He grabbed the olders' wrist and slammed him onto the locker, his hands on either side of Taehyung's face. The older seemed startled but didn't say a word, only staring at Jungkook with his huge innocent eyes.

"Do you like him?" Jungkook found himself saying.

"What?"

"Do you like him?" He repeated.

"Who? Baekhyun?" Taehyung asked. "Yeah, he's nice."

"So...you like him because he's nice?" He asked. "Are you dating him?"

"What? No!" Taehyung said. "It's not like that! He's my friend."

Jungkook found himself relax and his brain seemed to gain control again, slowly. He cleared his throat and stood straight. "Okay then," he said as he looked away. "I'll see you." He walked off without glancing at the puzzled looking older again, and stopped as soon as he walked out the door.

"What is wrong with you?!"
