What the heart wants and needs doesn't necessarily need to be different. Nevertheless, it can't necessarily get what it wants. Sometimes it has to be patient and wait and sometimes it has to distance itself, run off. Run so far until it trips, falls and breaks. Why does it have to be like this in the first place, when all one needs to do is give in. Give in to the heart and let it be free from the shackles of the mind. Can a king afford this though?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Viktor Von Granzreich was a great and well-respected King. Fair, loved, honest, anything a real king should be. People looked up at him, seeking his guidance and in return granting him their trust. Losing that trust would mean the end of his reign, might even mean the end of the royal family. It wouldn't be the first time in the history of men, or even this country specifically, that the people would rebel against the crown the very moment a scandal was out and spreading like wildfire. Thank heavens these kinds of things hadn't happened in decades, centuries even. It would be a pity if that were to happen any time soon.

The king was sitting at his desk handling some official documents as one of his duties as a king. A king was always busy, be it with discussing politics, traveling to other countries, talk to emissaries or, yes, even signing mere papers. Being a king was not a job that should be taken lightly.

There was a knock at the door, followed by a polite message.

"Your majesty, you have a request for an audience."

The Steward said from behind the closed door, awaiting the king's response.

"I am far too busy to be dealing with anyone. Please tell them to come back some other time."

The reply came.

"The request comes from the Royal Tutor."

The Steward continued calmly and composed as always.

This had caught Viktor's attention. How could he possibly deny this request when it came from one of the few people for who he would gladly make some time.

"Let him in."

Heine wanting to talk to him could have anything for a reason, varying from tutoring Leonhard; to their own 'problem'.

As Heine was being let inside the study, he once again had to deal with the knot in his stomach. He didn't and couldn't feel at ease, it irked him. The last thing he wanted was for them to get interrupted, just like last time, it had been a close call. In order to avoid the prospect of getting caught, they would have to behave accordingly to their status. This should come easy for Heine but for as far as he knew, it might proven to be rather difficult for Viktor.

"My, what a long face. If you aren't careful I might start to think you don't enjoy my presence."

Viktor was charming as always. Charming and annoying.

Heine's face only turned more sour after that comment.
