Catching Up With Time

Time is a thief, and Fate Had been asleep so long, she had totally lost all the muscle's in her body especially her legs. Stephen thought it would be best to keep the nurse around for a bit longer to help her rehibilate herself while he was gone at work and Anna well she had to go to school. Besides he was still worried about Fate being alone all by herself in that big house, and who knows what she might try and get up and do herself.

Thankfully though they already had a full time maid who came in and cleaned so nobody would have to worry about that, and Kara the nurse insisted she could go ahead and make Fate's lunch along with the one she brought everyday anyways for work.

But Fate was so Eager to get back into the jump of things even though she was having a hard time she was ready in her mind to do most things by herself and having the nurse around, though the company was nice, she was getting annoyed. Not really at the nurse more at herself for not being able to just go back to normal.

Fate could remember easy things though, like she immediately began to bathe herself again, she styled and cut her long hair that the nurse had been keeping it the same length for her for a while now, but Fate decided she wanted something different.

What was most shocking for Fate and something she still hadn't and she thought to herself may never get use to was of course the reflection of the much older lady she saw staring back at herself in the mirror. Yes, it was her own reflection that freaked her out the most.

So for the next few weeks she was awake, she and the nurse tried taking small steps at a time and doing stretches and similar arm muscle movements trying to get her back on track. Steven had even gone ahead and hired a personal trainer to come in and help out on Monday's, Thursday's, and Friday's, of ever week. Soon she would be walking again and she tried every day to do her best. At first she would get tired very easily but that changed every other day and soon enough she was up for hours working on her body.

She also noticed she had been having weird cravings for different kinds of foods here lately. Most likely cuz she had been on a feeding tube so long.
She was eating everything, and often, so soon her weight also came back on and though she had never been big she looked better with a little bit of meat on her. This would also help her be stronger when she did her work out and she felt a whole lot more energized.

She spent her late afternoons, being a mother again to Anna Lynn also. She would read her her homework and help her with that. She decided one night it would be fun to teach Anna how to do her makeup well. And she prepared Stephen for this, by making him go to the mall and buy the best brands of makeup. She told him it's important Anna feel good about herself and no way better way of feeling good then by looking the part yourself. Of course Stephen complied, he was a man anyways and did not know anything about Make up and such.Although he had tried his best in the past years, he was just happy she had a mother back in her life.

Stephen and Fate's relaxation ship grew as well, they were soon back into the hang of being a couple and they were mostly getting a long pretty well but she was noticing how much he worked and that Anna and him didn't seem to have the best relationship like she thought and wanted them to have. Really she wanted her old family back.

Stephen had anger issues like all scorpions, his star signs do, and she noticed he took most of his anger out on Anna. He was very hard on her to make good grades and pretty much be mrs. perfect. She had not many friends she also noticed and the ones she did were only allowed to come over every rare occasion when Stephen was in the mood for "teenage" company, his life however was booming with company. He had friends coming over all the time. He even had a Guy night every Saturday.

She wanted to say something about his relationship with Anna but for a time she didn't feel as if it was her place to do so. I mean who is she to tell him how to be a dad right? But her Taurus like personality kicked in and she decided to push some lines just to see how far she could get in changing all of theirs relationships.

Within a few weeks Stephen began to get on Fate's nerves a little. Fate wasn't sure how to handle all of this pressure he was putting on her to get back into the hang of things. Stephen had always been one to do this with Fate, and all though he was calm he also had high expectations out of people. She felt she should be taking things at her own pace while he felt she should be pushing herself farther.

But his push ended up helping Fate In the long run within four months of on going therapy she ways even getting her drivers license re instated. She felt really good about this and couldn't wait to start taking Anna to school like a real mom, and cleaning and cooking dinner and all for her family like a real wife.

Not long after that things began to go back to a daily normal routine and the nurse and personal trainer were let go because they were no longer needed. She was actually excited to be on her own. She had big plans for redecorating the house, planting that garden she had always dreamed of, and other fun hobbies she had in mind. She would be busy for a while.
