Time slowly catches up with Fate, as she was dreaming she finally came up to the ten year point, it . It was the summer of 2001. While the last day arrived in her mind, the day of Noah's birthday party, things began to blur in her head, as if she was in trance. A man's dark voice appeared in her mind and as she was sleeping he said in a horrific voice, "I told you once already, your son will die tonight." This was tragic for her to hear, it shook her up so much, and scared her so much, she jolted awake for the first time in those whole ten years.

"Stephen! Stephen!" She began to scream hysterically. All that was home at the time was the nurse, Stephen was at work and wouldn't be home for the next two hours. The nurse jolted into the room, shocked at what she saw. There Fate was staring at her in fright, sitting straight up in the bed she had been fast asleep in for so long. The nurse really didn't know what to do at first. She immediately she ran over to Fate, trying to calm her down.

"Mrs. Hamilton, My name is Kara, I am your nurse, please calm down. Do you know where you are." She politely asked as she comforted the hysterical Fate.

"No! No, actually I do not know where I am. I don't recognize this room. Who are you again? Where am I? Where is my husband, Stephen?" Fate replied still freaking out." Why am I here, and what is all this stuff around me? Oh My God! I have been sick haven't I? For how long have I been here?"

"Okay, again my name is Kara. Please, Mrs. Hamilton you need to understand, I am not sure what I am suppose to say. I have been your nurse for ten years, you have never awaken before." She said hesitantly.

"What? Oh My God, Oh my God, please, you need to call Stephen. My Husband. I have to see him now. Ten years. You're not serious? Please tell me you are joking right now." Fate was hyperventilating now. " I think I am going crazy, this can not be right..."

" I am being serious, you have been very ill..." The nurse didn't really know what else she should say and if it was wise to speak any more without Stephen present." Please, just lay down Mrs. Hamilton, I will call your husband right now, he should be here very soon and please don't try standing up, your legs will be very very weak, and I have some anxiety medicine I can give you, This should help you stay calm until Stephen can get here." She said to Fate as she handed her the anxiety pill. The nurse then began to leave the bedroom.

"Wait! Kara...Right? Please, don't leave me in here alone. I can't be alone right now, at least until Stephen gets here?...Please..."She was so scared.

" Right. Okay. I just got to go get the phone, I promise I will be right back." Then the nurse partially closed the door as she went to grab the phone. She was soon back, within five minutes or so, and she had the telephone in her hand, she sat down next to Fate on the bed, and grabbed her hand to hold it for a moment, giving Fate a sweet smile, then she began to call Stephen...As The phone began to ring, she quickly told Fate, " Don't worry Fate, he will be so happy to see you." this was quiet strange to Fate, to hear this nurse, this stranger say her name, as if she had known her all her life.

" Mr. Hamilton...? This the home nurse, Kara." She said nervously, "Fate has awaken. Are you able to come home?" Kate said as she smiled at Fate...Then she nodded a few times and Fate heard her say, " Yes. I will let her know, I just administered her an anxiety pill to calm her down...Yes...No, I will stay with her I promise until you get here." and that was the end, she then hung up the telephone.

A billion things were going through Fate's mind and even though she could feel that the medicine was beginning to kick in, it wasn't stopping her head from overthinking different scenarios of the last ten years she had completely missed in her mind. Then out of no where she began to cry. She tried not too, but she couldn't stop all the negative thoughts from filling her mind. She thought to herself about her children, and how she had missed so much of their lives, and Stephen...what if he had moved on and stopped loving her...This scared her the most. I mean the Nurse, she was young and beautiful...Tears just began streaming down her face and suddenly she felt so angry. Luckily for the nurse though her anger didn't last too long for Fate was now feeling a little loopy. The anxiety medicine was really working now.
