Liam POV:
I know the whole "gang member" thing isn't necessarily a reason for her to like me, but there are hundreds of other reasons. I mean, I've given her space, and I even was not the maddest I could get when she tried to run away. She looked so frightened for every single minute since she got here. 10,084 minutes to be exact. That's one week and 4 minutes. One week and four minutes later, and she still doesn't come down for breakfast, even when I cook her pancakes. I mean, yeah, they are microwave pancakes, but still. Isn't it the thought that counts?
It was 8 AM, and I had to go to a very serious drug deal today on the pier. I'm talking a life or death situation here. We are getting in a shipment from our rivel gang, in trade for a man they have been looking for. Our gang needed the money, very badly. We had been going down hill for months now, basically losing our edge to a gang of older, fiercer men. I had to do anything and everything to protect the gang's name.
I waited until 9 AM before I heard Juliet coming downstairs. Well, that's a first.
"Uhm.." she began to say "..can I go to the store?" Her face was red as a tomato.
"What for?" I answered.
"I have...an issue." Oh. I knew what that meant.
"I can get the stuff for you."
"No really, please let me get it." She says. I looked at her. Her face was so innocent. She bit her lip and had her hands behind her back. Perfect.
"Okay, but I'm coming with you." I stood up. "Here, put these on." I say, handing her my aviators, then we went out to the car. Suprisingly, she sat in the front seat. I figured she would try and get away from me as much as possible. Guess not.
We drove to a corner shop. I followed her into the store. I let her go get her..feminine needs, and I got a bag of chips. She came around the corner, with pads, tampons, and a box of chocolates. I gave her a look and she raised an eyebrow and walked to the counter.
I put my stuff on the counter, then we paid for the items and left.
I really hope no one saw me.
Liam Payne, number one gang member on this side of London, buying tampons.
Oh well, I did it for someone who matters.
Not a lot of people matter to me.
Juliet POV:
Today, after Liam took me to the store, he told me that he had to leave and that he should be back around midnight. I was starting to get used to living with him. He wasn't so bad. I mean, he cleans my room and even puts the toilet seat down. Hell, he even took me to buy tampons. I was not happy living here, of course, but I think Liam is doing what he can to make me feel comfortable. Then I just remembered...Rudy! my sweet baby boy. Oh! and poor Mary, she must be worried sick.. I needed to find a phone..Or a computer.
I began my search around the house. It was only 8 PM, so I figured I had enough time to rummage through everything. I went upstairs first and went into Liam's room. I had to be careful, he kept everything so neat, all the time. I looked through his drawer; empty. I looked under his bed; empty. I looked in his closet; it was organized perfectly. Not a single shoe or shirt was out of place. All of his clothes were organized by color. His entire room was white; the carpet, walls, curtains...and there was not a single stain!
I think I might be living with the most organized gang member in the world.
His room clearly did not have anything of my interest, so I began to wander around upstairs, opening doors to find empty white rooms. Why were all the rooms so empty? And why did he have such a large house if it was just him living here?
I continued my adventure downstairs, and by downstairs, I meant the basement. Normally, I would be scared to death of basements, but his had a pool, a workout room, and a pool table. Somehow, that made me fear basements a little less. I searched all around, nothing. The house was clean. Literally. Then I remembered...Liam had an attic! I saw him going up to it the other day when I was peeking through the door! I bolted upstairs. I went to the door, which blended in with the wall. There was one single key hole, which was made for a skeleton key. I began my search for the key. It had to be somewhere, unless he took it with him.
I began to think. If I was a gang member, where would I hide a key?
Under the couch? Nope. Too simple. Just when I thought I had looked everywhere, a thought came to my mind.
Taped under the kitchen table?
Bingo!
A skeleton key in the shape of a 'P'.
I ran upstairs so fast, I almost tripped over the stairs. It was only 10 PM. I had enough time.
I opened the door and ascended the flight of stairs up into the attic. The room revealed many pctures of men and women with red 'x's on their face. I noticed a computer, and I walked over to it.
Damn, I needed a password. I began to type various phrases such as: "gun" "kill" "born2kill" "liamkills" and more like that. I should know better! Ugh. This is impossible. I began to type in random phrases now, including my full name...it worked. JulietLucilleMontgomery was his computer password. I sat there and decided not to go through his files, just because I needed to send that email, and I was too creeped out to even imagine what was in the files. I signed on to my e-mail and began to write a message to Mary:
Mary:
I've been taken by Liam Payne. Please take care of Rudy, and thank you so much for being a great friend to me. I am okay.
Love you,
Juliet.
I sent the message and immediately cleared the history, covering up any trace that I was on the computer.
I walked downstairs and waited on the couch. It was around 12 AM now, so Liam should be home any second. My eyes grew heavy as I watched the television, and then I fell asleep.
Around 3 AM, I woke up.
I waited.
Liam still wasn't back.
5 AM.
It's 5 AM, and Liam still isn't back yet.
