Juliet POV:
I woke up to a bright room. There was snow on my window, and there was still snow falling from the sky. It was Christmas day, and it was also 6 AM. I leaped out of bed and ran downstairs like I had always done as a child. I heard footsteps down stairs and I assumed it was my father, who always was up before 5 AM. To my surprise, I went down the stairs to find Liam putting stuff in bags under the tree.
I sat for a minute and stared at the living room. Our Christmas tree was tall, at least 7 foot I'd say, and was covered head-to-toe in colored lights. I had hung a mistletoe above the doorway, along with a little bit of tinsel. Above the fireplace, I hung a stocking for Liam and I, and a very small one for Rudy. I began to smile thinking about all of the Christmas' I could spend with Liam, if our relationship worked out anyways. I imagined another small stocking there on the fireplace, and I immedietly stopped myself. I was still too young, and it was still a little too early in our 'relationship' to think about that.
I snuck down the last step and hurried to the kitchen. I had hid Liam's presents and his stocking stuffers in the pantry in my hiding place. I liked to hide my candy there when ever Liam ate some of it.
I tip toed through the dining room and into the living room. Liam was walking out right when I walked in. I hurried and put his presents and my parent's presents under the tree. Liam's was wrapped in green wrapping paper, with a red bow; my parent's in a purple wrapping paper with a gold bow on each.
I put Liam's stocking stuffers in his stocking. I put in his favorite candy: kit-kats and kinder eggs. He at those things like no other.
I walked slowly out of the room and went back to my room. I slept until around 8. I heard my door open, and I heard Liam say, "Juliet?"
"Hm?" I groaned.
"Are you awake?"
"Yeah."
"Can we go downstairs now?" He asked. I heard the giddiness in his voice.
"Of course." I said, getting out of bed. I went to brush my teeth and use the bathroom. When I went to the bathroom, I had gotten a lovely Christmas present. My period, of course.
I changed pants and rinsed off, then checked my bed for stains. Thankfully, I was stain-free. I hurried down the stairs and smelled a wonderful scent. Pancakes. They weren't just any pancakes either; they were my mother's Christmas pancakes.
"Momma! Merry Christmas." I said, hugging my mom.
"Good morning sweet pea, I'm making your favorite.." She smiled.
"I know." I smiled and waited at the table for my plate. Liam was helping my mother make coffee and bacon, and my father was reading the paper.
"Well, this is lovely. Liam, Juliet, we have some gifts for you both to open later." My mother said.
"No, no, you didn't have to get me anything!" Liam exclaimed.
"Oh yes we did!" She laughed.
We ate breakfast and talked for a half an hour. I was getting very excited to see Liam open his presents from me.
I moved everyone to the living room.
"Okay, Liam, you first!" I smiled, handing him the box with the dog tag in it.
"Okay.." he opened it, "Is this a dog tag? Thank you, babe. I love it." he smiled, hugging me. It was the first time he had used a pet name in front of my parents, and they were practically swooning over it.
My father and mother got Liam a nice dress shirt and a tie, which Liam promised to me that he would use at the next dinner party, or even tonight. My parent's enjoyed their gifts from me, and they really loved Liam's gifts. He bought them tickets to see Cirque de Soleil in New York, which they had just mentioned last night. I smiled at him and he gave a huge grin.
"Okay, Juliet, now one from me to you." Liam said, handing me a blue bag. I knew the color instantly.
It was Tiffany blue.
I pulled out a long box, so it was either a bracelet or a necklace. I opened it and saw a beautiful rose gold necklace with a flower encreasted with diamonds. It was amazing.
"Oh, Liam..I don't know what to say.." I said, hugging him. "Thank you, so so much."
"You deserve it." He said, putting the necklace around my neck. "Perfect." He said looking at the necklace. "Just like you."
I blushed and my mom awed. I hurried and got my last present for Liam.
"Uhm...okay..I really hope you like this." I said, handing him the box.
He slowly unwrapped the package and then opened the box. His face went from smiling to total awestruck.
"Is this the.." he started.
"Yep." I smiled.
"How did you know?" He asked, pulling the cobra dagger out of the packaging. "You even got it engraved! Oh my god."
"So you like it?" I asked.
"Like it? I love it!" He exclaimed. He got up and hugged me, spinning me around. "This has been the best Christmas ever." He whispered in my ear.
Liam and my father watched some TV while my mom and I made dinner. Liam kept coming in and asking if we needed help, and I just sent him away.
At about 5 o'clock, dinner was ready. I went upstairs to change into a red Christmas sweater and a pair of black jeans. I came out of my room at the same time Liam did, who was wearing a grey sweater. I had never seen him in a sweater before, and it was certainly a sight I could get used to.
We all sat around and began to eat our dinner. It was wonderful, just because it was my moms. My mom had told the story from earlier today about how she had to fix the yams because I had burnt them, naturally.
After dinner, we all enjoyed a little wine and champaigne.
"Hey, Jules, how about you sing that song for us?" My father said.
"What song?" I asked.
"O Holy Night! The one you always sing around Christmas time. I tell you, Liam, this girl has got the most beautiful voice." my mother chimed in.
Oh god. I remembered the song.
"Mom, I can't sing it. We don't have a piano..." I said, relieved.
"Actually...I do have one." Liam said, walking over to one side of the room, then turning on the light to an alcove.
How have I never seen that before?
"Please, babe. For me?" Liam smiled.
"Oh alright." I said, giving up before anyone started to pester me.
I sang the whole song, and I even hit the right high note on the "O night, divine" part.
I heard Liam clapping and he said, "That was brilliant. Amazing."
I thanked him and then walked with him to the kitchen to get more wine.
"MISTLETOE." my mother yelled. We both stopped and looked up. Without a warning, Liam pressed his lips to mine. Then, there was a knock at the door.
"I'll get it." Liam said. A few minutes later, Liam came into the room with a woman.
"This is Deborah, everyone, my mum." He said with a pale face.
