Juliet POV:

I woke up in darkness. Immediately I could tell that this was not my house. The smell was different. It didn't smell like Soft Blanket from Yankee Candle. It smelled...plain. Musty, almost. I got up out of the bed I had been laying on, and I went to find out where I was. I grabbed a pillow, it was my only defense. I opened the door very slowly, and then I tiptoed out. I heard snoring as a crept closer and closer to the end of the hallway. I then stepped on a loose floorboard, and it made a really loud squeaking noise. The snoring stopped. I heard hurried footsteps coming right towards the door I was in front of.

The door opened to reveal Liam Payne.

I ran away as fast as my feet would take me. I ran back into the room I had just come out of a few minutes ago.

I did not feel safe, but this was as best as I could get to feel a little safe. I hid in the corner of the room, with my knees pulled against my chest. I pulled the balnket from the bed, placed it over myself, and I began to sob uncontrollably. Their were footsteps, and they were getting closer and closer to the room. I was so scared. What did he want with me?

The door opened, and I closed my eyes a little tighter.

"Juliet, are you in here?" he asked. I did not answer, because he knew very well that I was in here. "Juliet, please, I'm not going to hurt you." Sure, that's what he wants me to think.

The footsteps got closer, then, right in front of me, they stopped. The blanket was then lifted up on one corner.

"Found you." He said, with a smirk on his face. I do not know what he thinks is funny about this. He lifted a hand up, and then I turned my head. He wiped a tear that had rolled down my cheek. "I told you I'm not going to hurt you. Please, trust me." How could I trust him? He had his hand extended out towards me. I grabbed it, not looking him in the eyes. He picked up the blanket and placed it back on the bed. There I was, in a room, alone, with one of the most cold-blooded killers in London, and yet he was making a bed for me in his sweatpants. I was always told that he was the most dangerous out of them, and that he never had a light side. He wiped away my tear, that counts for something, right?

After he made my bed, he turned around and looked at me. He nodded, then turned of the light.

I looked at the clock, it was 3:05 AM. I sat on the edge of the bed, then laid down. I shut my eyes and desperately hoped it was all a dream.

-

It was not a dream. It was 8 AM now, and I was hungry and I had to pee. I heard footsteps, and then there was a knock at my door.

"Hmm?" I said.

"Juliet? Do you need anything before I leave?" Liam asked, he was dressed in all black, with, of course, a signature leather jacket.

"I need to use the restroom, and maybe eat something." I said softly, still not looking him in the eyes.

"Okay, the bathroom is right across the hall, and the kitchen is downstairs. Please be careful and press the red button under the counter if there is an emergency. It will make the alarm sound, and then I will come." He explained. "Don't leave." He said, turning and making sure I looked at him in the eyes. "It is not safe for you out there. I'll be back later." And with that, he left.

I had so many questions. I knew one thing: I had to get out of here. He said he will "be back later", but how soon is "later"? I heard his car pull out, and then I knew I had a chance to run. I opened the back door of his house, and sprinted straight towards the woods. I kept running straight. I knew I would not end up at the same place if I just kept going one way. After about a half an hour of running, I heard voices. I ran faster and began to yell for help. My feet were completely destryed at this point, so I fell to the ground. I heard people running in the woods. I kept yelling for help.

"Over here!" A tall man with curly hair said. "Well, Juliet. They were right. You are a tough one." No. This couldn't be happening right now. I tried to get up and run, but it was no use. The curly haired guy had me pinned against a tree.

"Juliet, long time no see." A man with blonde hair said. It must have been the man that I kicked in the face. I'm still happy I did it, too.

"I thought I told you not to leave." I heard a very angry, very upset Liam say. "How could you disobey me like that? Whenever I tell you to do something, you do it! It's for your own safety."

"Yes, because me being stuck inside of a well known gang leader's house is considered 'safe'." I said back to him. The look in his ees went from angry to full of rage.

"You're coming home right now!" He screamed.

"Home? I do NOT live with you! Leave me alone, please!" I began to beg. It did not work. I was being lifted over his shoulder before I knew it. I hit his back repeatedly and kicked him multiple times.

"You aren't going to hurt me, love." he said harshly.

"You don't scare me Liam." I lied as he threw me into the backseat. He slammed the door and began to start the car. He drove off fast enough to where I wouldn't be able to jump out. Instead, I fell off of the back seat and onto the floorboard. I hit my rib against the cupholders, and I felt a sharp pain. Great, probably a broken rib.

He stopped the car as soon as we got to his house, and carried me up to the room I was in last night. He basically threw me onto the bed and walked out, slamming the door behind him. I layed on the bed and began to cry because of the pain in my ribs. It was making it uncomfortable to even breathe. I yelled for help from the one person I didn't want it from. He came running in.

"What is it?" He asked, out of breath, with a worried look on his face.

"I think I broke a rib, or two." I cried. He rushed over to me and turned me onto my back.

"I'll go get ice, but there isn't much you can do for a broken rib. Trust me on that." He said, then ran out of the room. A few minutes later, he came back with an ice pack and pain killers. "Take two of these, and then ice wherever it hurts. I'll call my friend, he's a doctor. He'll come check you out." And then Liam left.

A while after I took the pain killers, I began to nod off. Then it went black, and there was no more pain.
