Juliet POV:

I was nervous. What if they didn't like me? I mean, I have met 3/4 of his close friends, but I'm not too sure that any of them have taken a liking to me. Tonight, I am going to try and get them to like me.

For Liam.

I began the day long journey to prepare myself for the party, which started at 6 at night. It was now 12 PM, and I had just woken up. I went down stairs for breakfast and chatted with Liam for a bit.

"Liam, what if they don't like me?" I asked before going back upstairs.

"They will. They are the nicer ones." He smiled reassuringly. I sighed in relief and continued my way back to my room. I decided that I was going to put on an exfoliating face mask, then take a bath. Just what I needed. I ran the warm water and put the mask on. It was cold, just the way I liked it. I undressed and then stepped into my bath, which was extremely hot. I sank into the water and let it get the best of me.

There was a loud knock at the door.

"Juliet? Are you okay in there?" A worried Liam asked.

"Of course, why wouldn't I be?" I asked, sitting up in the now very cold water.

"You've been in there for over an hour. Please do not tell me that you were sleeping."

"I wasn't. Just shaving." I lied. I drained the water and started to shower. I washed my hair and shaved, of course. Then, I got out and put my hair into a towel. I walked out after I got dressed and went down stairs to get some water.

"What the heck is that on your head?" Liam asked.

"It's a towel.." I said.

"Why?"

"To dry my hair."

"But isn't that why you have a blow dryer?"

"Yes and no. Liam I will tell you all about it later, I promise." I say, walking back upstairs.

I dry my hair and then give it loose curls. I put on makeup, but not too much, just a light eyeshadow and winged eyeliner, I also had a darker red lipstick on than usual.

Now, I finally get to put on that beautiful dress. I grabbed it off the hanger and put it on. I loved it, and my new shoes. Liam didn't have to buy me these things, and I would actually rather have him not, but he did anyways.

I looked in the mirror, and I was not going to brag but, I looked hot. I loved the blue and the lace on the dress. I loved the way it hugged me in all the right places. I loved this dress.

I walked downstairs at 5:30. Liam looked up at me with his big, brown eyes and smiled. The thing I noticed most about his eyes is that they were sad, so very very sad.

He offered his hand and I took it. He opened my door for me and we sat in silence for the first few minutes.

"Is it okay if I introduce you as my girlfriend? I don't want to say 'Oh, this is my friend Juliet.'" He asked.

"That's fine, Liam. I'm happy you asked though."

"Okay, good."

We chatted a bit about random things. Favorite colors and what not. I learned some details about Liam, like how he loves the color green and that he wanted to be Batman when he grew up.

We arrived at a house slightly smaller than Liams, with at least  fifty cars in the driveway. As we walked into the house, I smelled food and men's cologne. I also heard a bit of classy music being played, and everyone around us was in a suit and tie. This was  definitely a black tie affair kind of party you could say.
