Liam POV:

I began to run. I felt so scared that I didn't know what to do. My father had been arrested, and my mother wasn't around. I needed someone to help me.  I went up to a rugged, lonely man on the street and told him I would pay him $1000 to help me kill a few men. He agreed.

We killed him. The man who took my sister ten years ago. I should feel relieved, but I don't. I say goodbye to my new friend, Harry, and I decided to let him in the gang. He needed it. He was homeless.

I heard a scream from a little girl.

I jolted upright, looking around the room. I was covered in sweat and there was a bit of light coming through the window. Then I smelled something burning. I got out of bed as fast as I could and saw black smoke downstairs. I also heard footsteps, and pots banging.

"Juliet?!" I called out. I heard her coughing, so I ran downstairs. There, I saw her in the kitchen, holding a burned plate of pancakes.

"I can never get these stupid things right." she laughed. I helped her clean up the mess, then I made breakfast.

"Why did you decide to wake up at 7 AM and make pancakes? You are never up early." I said, sitting down at the table.

"That's the problem! I never get up in time to eat breakfast with you before you leave for the day!" She giggled.

"Well, let me tell you something. I think you're better off making cereal."

"Nope. I'd probably screw up that too! The only thing I can make is spaghetti!" She said, laughing again. She had pink pajamas on, with little black hearts all over them.

"Nice pajamas." I joked.

"You too." she sad, cocking an eyebrow. I had just now realized that I was in my underwear.

"Oh god, sorry." I laughed, as I covered my chest up with a napkin.

After breakfast she said that she was going back to bed. I think she sleeps more than anyone I know.

I watched a bit of TV before getting ready for work. Not much was going on today except a couple of drug deals, a bank robbery, and a murder. Wow, I was a busy man. My phone began to ring.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Liam! I'm having a party in two days at my house. Bring yourself and one guest, aka your girl. I want to meet the famous Juliet. It's a dinner party, so eat before you come because Kacey is cooking." My friend Louis said.

"Louis, you've been out of work for two months, and you're going to have a party?" I asked.

"Well of course! It's kind of like my coming back party, every one is invited. Make sure you bring the lovely lady. Also, you need to meet Jack." Jack was Louis' newborn son, which is why he has not been at work for 2 months.

"Okay, I will be there."

"Ahemmmmmm."

"Okay, alright, WE will be there."

"Okay good, bye." He said then hung up.

A party? Does Juliet even like parties? How many gang members were going to be there exactly? I had to worry about this later. I needed to get myself ready for the day.

-

One drug deal down, one to go. The bank robbery turned out great, I got almost $1 Million for the gang. The murder of a womans husband, who beat her up in front of one of our members, got what he deserved. We don't kill people for no reason at all, at least our gang doesn't, anyways.

The last drug deal took a while. I waited in the park, and the man never showed up. I started to get flashbacks from the time I was at the park and my sister was stolen. I had to find out what happened to her, since the man never told us where he hid her body.

I always have that feeling that she might not be dead, but I know there is no chance that she is alive either.

-

The day before the party, I decided to tell Juliet about it.

"A party? Sounds fancy." She said, sitting on the couch reading her copy of Vogue.

"Yeah..it is. That's why we need to go shopping. Now." I said. She looked up at me and rolled her eyes.

"Procrastinator." She giggled.

"Come on...we don't have all day." I joked. She began to pretend that she was doing her nails, then finally gave up when I started mocking her.

"Okaaaaaaay." She said, grabbing her coat.

We drove to the mall, and I asked where she wanted to go.

"Uhm, I don't know..I've never been here."

"Never?"

"Nope."

"How about this one?" I asked, pointing at Chanel.

"Chanel, Liam? Chanel?" she asked, her eyes wide.

"Uh, yeah...Chanel. Isn't it a good store?"

"Are you kidding me? It's a GREAT store."

"Well let's go in then." I laughed. She was holding my hand as we walked through the store, and every single person in the stores eyes immediately shifted to our hands when we walked by them.

"How about this one?" I asked, holding up a little black dress.

"Too cliche! How about this one?" she asked, holding up a navy blue, figure fitting dress.

"Yes. Please try that one on." I begged. She rolled her eyes again and went to try it on. She came out of the dressing room and I literally could not move. She was perfect. The dress was perfect. It hugged her curves, and it made her legs look even better, which I did not think was possible.

"So...?" She asked, giving me a 360 view.

"This is it. You're getting this one." I said.

"Liam, it's almost one grand.."

"And?" I laughed. "Money is not an issue." She smiled and thanked me with a kiss on the cheek, then waltzed her way back into the dressing room.

"I think you also need shoes. Actually, you know..there is a shoe store around the corner.. Lou Boutin..or something like that. How about we go there?" I asked.

She poked her head out of the dressing room. "Oh my god are you serious?" She asked. I nodded and she went pale, then went back into her dressing room.

We walked over to Christian Louboutin. She literally got so excited when we went in. I picked up a pair of white high heels with a red bottom.

"These?" I held them up.

"Liam oh my god you can't buy me red bottoms!"

"Why?"

"They cost too much!"

"What did I say about that?" I asked. "What size are you?"

"8 American.."

I went and asked for a size 8 and bought them, even though she protested. I walked out of the store as she asked me if she could out them on. She did, and they were a perfect fit.

"Perfect shoes for the perfect lady." I smiled.

"Liam, next time we are at the mall, I'm getting a tattoo like you."

"Haha, I don't think so babe. What would you even get a tattoo of?

"A daisy."

"Why?"

"It's my mom's favorite scent and her favorite flower. We always had fresh daisies in our house when I lived there!" She exclaimed. I loved hearing about her mother, and I hoped that one day I would get to meet her mother in person.
