To Be Alone.

We ended up watching Disney movies until his mom called. "I'll be home in an hour and a half." Ok so an hour and a half. Tate talks to his mom for a minuet then hangs up. "Come on." He says and holds a hand out to me. I smile and take his hand he twirls me around and picks me up. He carries me to a bedroom I assume is his moms. Then through another door. To a bathroom he sets me down on the counter and starts looking through drawers till he finds a bag, "here." He hands me the bag and smiles. I open it and see there's makeup. I immediately put some base on my neck to hide the bruise. Then eyeliner. The whole time I'm doing my make up Tate is watching me closely. "Do you see something you like?" "Yes. You." I blushed. He laughed at me yet again. Back to my makeup. Mascara eyeshadow then lipgloss. "So where do you wanna go?" "do you like roller skating?" "Never been." I look at him like he just grew a third eye. "Never?" "Ever." Déjà vu. "Wanna go?" "Sure why not." He smiled at me I hugged him tightly "Thank you." I whispered in his ear. He just nodded and hugged me back. We stood there in each other's embrace for what seemed like for ever. But sadly was only a few minuets. When he pulled away he laced his fingers through mine. I smiled at his touch. And squeeze his hand a little he squeezes back. It took me almost 45 minuets to do my make up so we wouldn't be waiting to much longer. "Do you want a smoothie before your shopping trip?" he asks breaking the comfortable silence. "Yes please." He smiled and pulled me into the kitchen and started to get the stuff out. When someone walked through the front door and in to the kitchen "I'm ho- ooo who are you?" she said when she saw me. "I'm Lexi. Who are you?" before she could answer Tate looked up from the cabinet and yelled "Le I missed you!" he ran over and hugged her. She hugged him back and said "Okay okay. Enough huggin' introduce me to her." "Ok" he said with a big grin. "Leila this is Lexi. Lexi this Leila or Le." "Hi. Nice to meet you. I don't know if he talked about me. But I'm his sister." she said politely. "No a lot has happens with me so there was not a lot of 'Family' talk." I said hoping she wouldn't ask what but I knew it was to much to ask for. "What happened?" I looked at Tate. "Ok I know she's your sister but I have to ask you. Do you want her to know?" he nodded "do you want me to tell her?" I nodded and looked his sister in the eyes until Tate started talking. "she tried to kill herself." Le's eyes went wide. "Her parents abandon her." Her mouth made an 'o'. "I saved her. After this is over there is no discussion. Oh and she lives here." I looked over at Tate he had tears in his eyes. I pulled him in to a hug he hugged me tightly. I stood on my tippy toes and put my forehead on his, looked into his eyes and said. "Thank you. For saving me. I owe you." He shook his head. "You already payed your debt." I gave him a sideways glance. "How?" He smiled and leaned down and kissed my cheek. "That's how. Hey Le? do you have a swim suit Lexi can borrow?" "Yes." I looked over and she had a scary smile on her face. Like she was up to something. Oh god. "Come on I'll get it for you." I looked at Tate worried about dizziness and he nodded. "Le you'll have to help her. She can't walk. Very well anyways." She looked at me then at Tate and nodded again walked over to me and helped me up the stairs to a room across from Tate's. This room was a dark purple with black trim. And nothing but black veil brides. "I like your room. And Black Veil Brides." She smiled and looked at me. "Can you stand?" "Yep." She walked away and went to the dresser sitting in between two doors. She opened the top drawer and dug around for a while. She came back with a bikini. "Here. Put this on. Oh wait. Cover up." I raised an eyebrow. "I am covered." She walked away laughing. "I was talking about a swimsuit cover up." I face palmed. "Oh." She laughed. And walked over to one of the doors opened it and dug around till she found a little black dress. "Here. Go put this on." I walk to the bathroom and put on the bikini she gave me it was black and purple. I guess she likes purple. "Does it fit?" she yelled through the door. "Yes. Perfectly. Thanks." "Your welcome" she called back through the door I herd her walk away. I pulled the dress over my head. And walked out of the bathroom. To see Tate walking out of his room. "Hey." he said with a smile. "You ready?" "I guess. where are we going?" "Swimming. Duh." I laughed and shook my head. "Where are we swimming?" He took a step closer, held out his hand and I took it. He spun me around, hugged me and whispered "It's a secret." I giggled and shook my head. "Wait what about your mom?" "what about her?" I looked at him. "I am supposed to go shopping with her later." "Rain check? she won't mind." I sigh. "Ok." He walks around the car and opens my door. I smile and get in. "Thank you." He smiled at me and nodded then walked around the car to his side and started the car. After about five minuets of driving we pulled off the road there was nothing but trees around us. Tate got out and opened my door he held out his hand to help me out. I hesitated. Apparently Tate noticed and said "I'm not gonna hurt you. Trust me." I took his hand and nodded. "I'm sorry. I do trust you. But I still have second thoughts. Not about you. Not about us. About me." His face softened as he pulled me in to a tight hug. I hugged back. "Lexi. Promise me you won't hurt yourself. Please?" I sigh. "I promise." He let out a breath. I pulled back far enough to reach up and kiss his cheek. He smiled and kissed my forehead. "Come on." He said slightly pulling me with him. I followed him through the woods until we came across a little pond. There was not a lot of sunshine. The tall trees where blocking it. There was a tire swing hanging from a smaller tree. Tate took his shirt off revealing his abs. I took the dress off. And revealed nothing. I looked at Tate. He looks like he just saw the hottest girl on the planet. "Um." I cleared my throat. He looked away and blushed. I walked over to him and put my hands on his face and made him look at me. "Cute. Is so not right your so. So." I paused. "Handsome? boyishly charming? Charming? Lovable?" I hugged him "all of the above." He smiled. "Let's go swimming. Shall we?" "we shall." I replied. He took off running and jumped in the water. when he came back up he was gasping for air. When he caught his breath he said "come on in it feels good." I nodded and backed up I ran as fast as I could and when the edge of the dock came I did a flip and dived in to the water. When I came up for air he yelled "10 of 10" I laughed and swam over to where he was. "Thanks." He nodded. "So. You want to get to know me?" I nod. "What do you want to know?" I think. Start with something simple. "Um. I don't know. Just tell me about yourself and family. I'm not good at asking questions. I'm sorry." He smiled. "Ok so to start myself. I am 17. I love the bands Black Veil Brides, Asking Alexandria, Blood On The Dance Floor, Falling In Reverse, and Here Lies The Rebels. I love food. My mom is the AWESOMEST person I know. Then there's Le and you." He stopped and smiled then continued. "Um. Blue and black. Tied for favorite color. I do NOT like movies. I will watch them but. Don't like them. I like basketball. Can't play it. But I like it. And ummmm. That's pretty much all about me." he stopped and swam toward shore. I swam after him "catch me if you can." He yelled. "Gladly." I was a few feet behind him, he slowed down as I sped up and grabbed his foot "gotcha" I pulled myself up to him by his foot and hugged him. It was shallow enough to stand so I stood up and pulled him up too. "Your a good swimmer." I nodded and laughed "Thanks. I was on the swim team." he looked at me. "Really?" I nodded. We got out and sat under a small tree I cuddled to his side, he put his arm around me. "Family?" I asked. he sighed. "I'm sorry you don't have to talk about anything you don't want to." He hugged me tighter. "I like you. A lot." He said with a smile. "I like you. A lot too" I replied smiling. Then the unthinkable happened.
