Amy had found Sarah outside which made her confused. Instead, she chose to ignore it and headed on out to the library. She had many thoughts racing through her head as she got a step closer to the Newburgh Free Library. I wonder what Sarah's life was like. Or Chucky's. I hope they're in a better place. Amy reached the doors which held many secrets.
She took a deep breath and mentally prepared herself for the horror of what lied ahead. She walked up to the librarian who wore a tag which revealed that her name was Ms. Willis. "Excuse me," Amy said. The woman looked up from her computer and smiled at the girl. "Do you know where they keep the old newspaper articles? From the 1900s." Amy said. Ms. Willis shook her head. "We don't keep newspapers here. Only magazines which are close to it. Why do you ask?" Amy dug into her back pocket and took out the newspaper article about the little girl.
Ms. Willis's eyes filled with shock and surprise. "Where'd you find that?" She asked. "My parents's attic. I was wondering if I could find out more about the Good Guy Dolls and the little girl." Amy explained. Ms. Willis stood up and motioned her toward a area in the back. "I don't recall much about those Good Guy Dolls but I do know that they were a best seller. Every kid wanted one. Alas, my son became one of them." Amy felt a frown spread across her face.
"Is he in a better place now?" She asked. Ms. Willis didn't know to respond. She was lost in her thoughts. Soon, the two arrived in a back area where it had a old TV. "Whoa, what is this place?" Amy exclaimed. Ms. Willis took off a VHS tape from a stack and inserted it into the TV. The TV wouldn't turn on for a moment so Ms. Willis was forced to fix it.
Amy spotted a faded poster of a doll with orange hair, blue overalls, and a happy smile while holding another doll's hand. The second doll appeared to be a African American girl with black puffy hair while wearing a flower dress. Underneath read: We're your friends till the end.
"We're your friends till the end." A child's voice spoke.
