A young girl sits on her bed,
Thousands of thoughts racing in her head.
"Why would he say that to someone like me?"
She held her head and started to plea.
Barely even 15 years of age,
Already becoming so full of rage.
"Send me some pictures of you with no clothes -
Maybe even in a revealing pose?"
She denied with anger, fear, regret -
Still, nobody has noticed yet.
For even girls as young as her,
Become victims - are the wheels starting to whir?
She reached out to someone she trusted,
Only to have that trust become busted.
"I know him enough,
Lying about that must mean your life's tough."
She cried even harder as her heart began to race,
Tears of salt rolling down her face.
All of this is true - written sans glory,
I was that girl, & this is my story.
