I wish
That I could drink
Enough that
I would forever
Forget everything
About you
About myself -
I want to forget
Your face
Your name
The warmth of your body
And how perfectly
Your lips fit against mine -
I want to forget
The way your clothes
Smelled so sweet
And how your lips
Felt so soft
And tasted
Like home -
I want to forget
How welcoming
You made me feel
And how loved
I felt for once
In my life -
I want to forget
How I felt
As if I belonged
With you
Around you
To you -
I want to forget
Every tiny detail
About you
So that way
We can meet again
And maybe
Just maybe
This time
We won't do this
Again -
I want to forget
How much
I
Love
You.
