Looking in the mirror - dead eyes staring,
Turning back - yet nobody's caring.
The water turns hot enough to melt flesh,
Eyes closing as it starts to refresh.
Water burning slowly
Slowly evaporating quietly
Quietly screaming painfully
Painfully erasing memories.
Thin lines shattering her armor,
Shattering herself for a charmer.
Screams from the inside,
Not heard from the outside.
Steam fogging glass
Glass shattering loud
Loud fragments flittering
Flittering gently down.
Tears mixing in with water,
She thought she was okay.. until life got harder.
Stepping out of the shower asking herself why,
She can't be perfect as she makes herself dry.
