Smiling through her tears,
Using makeup to hide the crying,
Hiding behind a façade.
Nobody knows what goes on in her life,
They can't hear her thoughts,
They don't see her scars.
She stays up crying every night,
Waiting for somebody to hold her,
Dreaming of a happy life.
Everybody thinks she's okay,
They all think she's happy,
Without asking for her story.
As she stands on the ledge,
Her fingers are outstretched,
She's trying to hold on.
She
Tumbles
Down.
People are sitting,
Unable to speak as they watch her fall,
Nobody helps.
Cameras surround the broken shell of a girl,
They speak of her as if she was happy,
As if she wasn't broken.
She
Tumbles
Down.
She was so perfect,
She was always so happy,
They lie to cover their guilt.
She
Fell
Down.
