Her smile is brighter than the rays of the sun,
Her eyes full of the glittering stars,
Her heart glowing beautifully from within -
But things are slowly changing.
Her smile begins fading until what's left is none,
Her eyes are slowly losing stars,
Her glowing heart is beginning to grow dim -
Yet nobody noticed anything.
You didn't notice when she smiled less,
You didn't notice when she cried more,
You didn't notice when her eyes grew dark -
You didn't notice when she became a bore.
Every day, struggles grow,
Every day, she loses her glow,
More and more, depression grows -
One day, her hear's glow will cease.
Yet you'll claim you didn't notice her disease,
Won't you?
